  1. I know both teams lost very valuable seniors this past year....Riverdale losing all-state players Shayne Rollins and Dan Campbell in their offense and Siegel losing all-district performers in Kennon Todd and Mike Whiteside in their defense. Which team's losses will show the most in this game? What will happen in this young rivalry? Let me know what ya think! /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
  2. I understand that they are playing a couple of tough teams in Baylor and BGA, but they played a tough schedule last year including one of Alabama's top teams in Grissom High School. They play Blackman and Wilson Central every year...this is Riverdale's first loss to Wilson Central in quite a while. And it is usually a really good game between them and Blackman. From what I hear, it was just no contest this time around and Riverdale didn't even post a decent shot on goal. In the past years, Riverdale has at least played well when they lost their games. This skid of 4 losses.....the stats just aren't there. Not enough offensive production....not even close! They need leaders on the field. They had a great squad last year and I was not expecting a huge drop-off this year. Anybody else on what's going on here?
  3. Riverdale has lost 4 in a row now including a loss to Wilson Central at home. What is going on here? This team was #5 in the state and made quite a showing in their run to the state tournament last year. What happened? Were their seniors that valuable to their success? Is it a leadership issue? /ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />
  4. come on......what does everyone else think? who are the elite players in rutherford county?
  5. Riverdale is very strong through the middle.......starting with James Holt at goalie. Then the two central defenders are also very strong in Patrick Compton and Tim Reed. The two center mids really know how to play and use each other. Two very soccer-smart players in Dan Campbell and Jose Cruz. And of course they still have Shayne Rollins up top. Riverdale is SOLID this year! good luck guys
  6. ok, i went and saw oakland play the other nite....ummmm not too impressed they have some good players:Wesley Hughes, Kyle C., and Chris Jefferies that's the only potential I see in them is if those 3 guys take over.
  7. 2 words.....Shayne Rollins thats all u need to hear
  8. riverdale started 4 freshmen in their first game against Shelbyville and won 5-1.then in their second game, they played franklin county and beat them 4-0 playing with 3 freshmen! So u tell me who u think the best freshmen are now!!!Their 4 freshmen that play or have played play at sweeper, left midfield, right back, and right midfield. they all have contributed to the great start of riverdale's season and everyone should look out for them!!!
  9. Riverdale should be in the top 10 teams in the state...they r by far one of the best teams in tennessee!Riverdale(2-0) just got done beating Shelbyville 5-1 and Lincoln Co. 4-0.
