  1. to stay off topic, are you playing with us for state jeremy? just wondering...right after school season, we have some scrimmages set up...
  2. CCS's keeper made a couple of exceptional saves. He saved one that i was almost certain was tucked away in the lower right corner....and he just dove and pushed it aside. Plus, he saved a semi-break away...he also pushed aside my left footed volley...even though they called offsides...that save still impressed me.
  3. Leave wally alone. Don't "diss" (if you would consider that a "slam") online. Just let your play do the talking. He's a solid player. That is a fact thats tough to refute.
  4. 1-0 McCallie over CCS. CCS really turned it up the last 13 or so mins...had a few really close chances that almost hit the back of the net.
  5. We still have alot of work to do until the tourny. But yes, we have played Father Ryan. Ryan was (and I assume still is) good all over the field. We won 4-2, although one of our goals was a pk and one of their goals was scored in the last waning minutes. However, we scored a goal in the first half as time was running out and that sort of gave us the mental support we needed to keep going during the second half. A less "wordy" way of saying all that....they are good and we had to play well to beat them. A lot of time has happened since that meeting and I'm sure they have developed....and btw, Hertzog, aka "the bulldog" does find a way to get it done, seemingly every time without much blatent effort. It's pretty incredible.
  6. Catholic is very solid defensively and has play makers upfront. 3-1 doesn't sound very far-fetched for me. Good win for Catholic....DII East keeps looking harder and harder....
  7. Brentwood's a solid team. #10 in the center is pretty skillful. He made some of us look silly a few times. Their defense is solid and they cover well...Their keepers switched at half and both seemed confident back there. I think they'll do fine....just keep the ball on the ground and let it do the work for you
  8. I thought the game was next thursday...but its gonna be a war on the field. I hope I can make it...APs could get in the way
  9. Notre Dame plays Baylor @ Notre Dame next Thursday @ 7.

    Cleveland

Good luck to Cleveland. This will be another test on the road to preparing for state. They played Hendersonville close and got a result over Knox Catholic...I'm gonna go with Cleveland 1-0...Back me up fellas
  11. Who scored for soddy and cleveland?
  12. Catholic was model competition: they didn't talk trash, they didn't talk back to the refs, and they just played hard, clean soccer...I don't remember anything being at all dirty. A couple of times, they went in for hard shoulder tackles but soccer is a contact sport. The game was fun, the reffing may not have been great, but you move on
  13. Not sure about the difference in the camps. Maybe call to see? But go, its always an expierence. You'll feel better afterwards.
  14. I believe the shot count was 13-4 in favor of McCallie. Not sure about posession. It was a hard but cleanly fought game.
  15. 5 on friday @ baylor...Should be exciting

  17. Not really no lol...I believe I'm going to the one in West GA but I'm not sure yet. #14 for catholic is pretty good up top. #7 is solid in the midfield. Thier sweeper (#13 i believe) is fast and solid. And #9 up top is pretty good too. #10 on the outside left sent some good balls in.

"the only problem i have is that teams can change there records if they want last time i checked a loss is a loss win is a win like it saids above"....I don't understand the logic that the team is actually changing its record. If you have a problem with it, take that up with TSSAA. If anyone is changing records, it would be TSSAA policy...I'm pretty sure a team just can't change their record blatently.
  20. Check into Lundy goalkeeping camp. A friend of mine went there and they beat him down...but he came out a much better keeper. I think there is one decently close in GA...but the drive and the time will be worth it.
  21. Back to the topic...Patrick Johnson has the best vision I've ever played with. It's second nature...He just gets you the ball, in any way, shape, or form. And its almost always instride and perfectly weighted.
  22. http://ralphlundy.com/ Check it out. I know I'm going back this year. Tore my oblique first training session last year...might as well use the $ that's already been paid. By the way, think about going to the elite camp...You only get better by playing good competition. And its the best out there. At least in the South.
