  1. I never said that it was right for Trey to use drugs. I said it was wrong to JUDGE him, for a mistake. And as far as every team having that problem, trust me it goes on. Having been a D-I athlete, I have seen it first hand, and in MANY programs. Including the Dukes, Carolina's, and UK. Some get caught, some get covered up, some are just smart enough to not get caught, and some are just plain lucky. All Im saying is this, if you guys on here posting have ever over consumed alcohol or done anything illegal, then quit being hypocrites. Try being a student athlete. You get it all thrown at you, women, booze, and yes, drugs. You live this life to make mistakes, then you learn from them. Let's instead of passing judgement just rally behing one of the States brightest stars and hope he learns from it!!!!
  2. How silly. To call a kid....(a kid now) a waste is ridiculous. Kids in the limelight are seldom subject to peer pressure, and end up making the wrong decisions. He is only a 19 year old kid. Ive known Trey for a long while he is a great kid. He just happened to make a bad decision. Its not a waste of talent. If you analyze every program in america, EVERY team has its problems with players drinking and abusing drugs. They just dont get caught, but you get on here and bash a kid that rarely gets in trouble, and has good parents, a waste. Get a life, there is only ONE that can judge a persons character.
  3. I know this about TN sports, but I have to ask this question? Did any of you see Maya Moore, #32 of the Georgia Magic play? She is a very special player. Just turning 14, she was clearly the best player in the tournament . Could she possibly be the Lebron James of girls high school basketball? If anyone can come out early she will be one that can do it. What do you think?
  4. The 17 yr old team should be playing the Clarksville Magic this coming Saturday in a city rival matchup. Thats it for them I think. The 16 yr olds are done for the year, and the 15 yr olds will be playing in the Midwest Best of the Best National Championships this weekend.
  5. The Tennessee Dreams 15 and under AAU club will be playing in Indianapolis, IN for the Best of the Best National Tourney, July 24-27. If there are any CENTERS or (Big men) out there who want to play a a guarantee of 6 games e-mail me at, prodigie_15@hotmail.com
  6. I have to agree with Coach Reed on the Ramon Williams issue... he is a POINT GUARD. Im sure you have gone to some of the Indians games. So you of all people should know that he is the one who gets the Delk twins the ball. Ask them... And as far as having Reiley Irvin as the # 1 point prospect in the state...(are you serious) How is he ranked over Andre Allen, TN's Mr. Basketball? And the Burney issue, you act like you are doing him a favor by ranking him so high.. He has made his own name this summer...and in Williams and Burneys defense, you should check you official score's book again. They both blistered nets against the ballerz, and won the game. And you said " The showed why they are one of the best guard tandems in the state"
  7. I have alot of respect for Coach Patterson and what he did for our program. He is a class act, there is no doubt about that. I dont want to sound like im bashing him or anything, but how could you leave a team that has been to the final four, won a championship, and return all of your starters. Dont you have an obligation to your players as a coach to groom a class for at least four years. I know job security wasnt an issue. Now that brings me to my next question was it for the money?? If that was the case (PHS),(TSSD),(Booster club) should have done everything they could to keep him there!! Trenton was known as a boys basketball town between ('91-'99) producing some of the areas top players. Then we just dissapeared. I was at the State tourney this year, and it nearly brought tears to my eyes to see my town shutdown and rally behind those young ladies. At least i can say this, thanks for bringing life back to a small town! Good luck!
  8. For those of you who dont want to watch San Antonio blow another lead, make your way to The TN Dreams 1st annual King of the South Tournament held at Lipscomb University this weekend. The tourney will show case a lot of top 50 talents according to Gomabs latest polls. 16. We had a good TN-Tune up Tourney beating a JV team out of Warren County, and Tullahoma High School JV team. We lost to The Huntsville Tornados 16 yr old team by 5, and to State Perenial Power Murfreesboro Stars, by 19. Leading scorers for the Dreams this summer: (SG) Greg Ramsey-Trenton Peabody(My Alma Mater) 14.8 ppg (SF) Chauncey Dickerson-Clarksville NW 12.7 ppg (SG) Brandon Petty-Montgomery Central 8.3 ppg (PG) Eric "Bam" Collins- Clarksville High 7.2 ppg (SF) Juwon Webb- Clarksville High 6.3 ppg Tourney Highlights Against Warren County Greg Ramsey had 15 points, and is making a strong push for the TOP 10 in the class of 2006. In the Tullahoma game we were led in scoring by Chauncey Dickerson with 19, Greg Ramsey also tossed in 13 including 3 three pointers. Brandon Petty from Central had 8 points with 2 threes. After beating Team TN we lost 4 in a row by a margin of 14 points, including 2 overtime losses and a 4 point loss to the Alabama Titans who were 11-2 at that time.
