I have to agree ego, I played against that team as 16's when Paris played for the Y. They did have Will Smith that played at Colorado. That team beat up on my AAu team by 30. It was my first AAU experience, and one I will never forget. I often watch the tape just to see all the highlights!! They were the best AAU team that Ive seen hands down.

Chris is a good talent in that class in Memphis. Playing footbal wouldnt hurt at all. Who did he want to play AAU for? I knew that he was playing for Pump-and Run right? Does he still want to play AAU?

Knoxville Lakers, Knoxville Zags, Midstate Ballerz Elite 16u, Charles Davis Foundation, Tri Cities All Stars, and I think one more team.

Thats correct Gomab, The Ballerz were in a three way tie for first place in the pool play with a 1-1 record. Team Jefferson Arizona won the pool, by point margin, but were beat by the Ballerz. Las Vegas Prospects finished second beating the Ballerz in overtime by 6. The 70-59 score was the 3rd round of the Bronze division tournament. Marquise Weddle avg 22.1 ppg in the tournament, hitting a team high 33 points and 7-10 on three point shooting against the Las Vegas Prospects. Deon Gaines- 11.3ppg Mack Gardner- 9.2ppg

Mottep, YAB, or Tn Thunder will be the best three out there. Either one of the three can advance. Mottep is very beatable without Wooten.

Tennesee Thunder Blue has a great chance because of size. TN Dreams best player may miss to attend The Kingwood classic in Houston, Tx. But either one of the thunfer could win. Both are good 15u teams.

Its obvious that the schedule was made like that on purpose. Now there will always be an asterik behind the victory. I didnt want to go there, but it seems that some teams with sneaker deals elude up and coming teams that dont have them. If you have high caliber teams like The Memphis Bulldogs, who just beat the # 3 team in the country in the Dallas Mustangs, will be there. Mur Stars, SE Pump and Run, TN Dreams, etc. all in one tournament then why not come play? It brings a certain rivarly for the fans. It seems the only way you can play the Travelers these days if you are a TN team, is in their tournament. Its easy to say Jamont didnt play, so lace em up bring Jamont and come to the Ballerz Challenge of Champions.

I do know that the plainsmen are not the best team out there. The Thunder is pretty good. I know they have Zack Frey from Goodpasture.. The Lakers have a kid from antioch whos first name is Nevon. He shoots it pretty well, and is a good playmaker. Vintage Sports is not a bad team.

Sorry for the mistake, we have 3 teams 2 17u, and one 16u. That was a very bad mishap. We dont have a 15u team as of yet.

The Travelers are just not as strong as they used to be. Memphis Y is very strong this year, and will be stronger next year. Bottom line is why not play in a Tournament that has every top team in TN in it? This would be very good for our fine state. Bring your full roster and roll the ball out.

No 75% of their team are Sophmores. They are still very competitive. As 15 yr olds (YOMCA) those guys beat the 17u YOMCA. They were actually ranked #1 in the state overall last summer, at one point. So they will be very competitive this summer.
