I just wanna add something incase any of the guys that were saying all of the Oliver Springs players stink decides to read this. The Michael or Dusty Taylor kid must really stink. Hes's only hitting .500 with a .654 OBP. The OBP is down a little from .68-something during the season. He seems to strike out a lot also he's struck out i think its 4 times. Batting in the 2 spot hes only gotten 18 RBI's over 15 games. He has had 0 errors in the field and is 2-0 on the mound. I'll get some more updates soon on the other players.

We play @ 6 & 8 thursday and friday at loudon High School for the Yards 4th of July shoot out. We have not been told who we are playing yet though. We are hopeing to pick up 2 more players this weekend but we doubt that they will get to play this weekend. We are trying to get our team ready for the USSSA world Series. Still looking for another Ace pitcher.

This past tourny we picked up a kid to play SS his name is "not sure on spelling" Brett Book. ET got a save and Jason Eble ended up getting the win. we went 2-1. We probaly shouldnt have lost to the Cobras the umpires had a "problem" seeing our pitcher dive for the ball and catch it off a bunt attempt. Later in the day he ended up hitting a 395 footshot. If we end up going to the USSSA world series right now here are our players that might be going. Still looking for some really good pitching though. we are now 6-2 havn't had a lot of practice time at all well 1 practice we have won 1 tourny and tied for first in the other. We were beatin by Morris Town Pioneers. We scored 12 with out making an out during one of the games during the tourny this weekend at Pegion Forge. We are trying to enter the Yard's 4th of july tourny. Will anyone else be in it? Im afriad we will have to pick up some pitching for that tourny though.

Well we just won our first tourny of the year. Rob and Michael Gilmore both picked up wins along with Tyson Hamilton. Sam Cummings (Harriman) filled in nicely for the injured DJ Whalen. How bout DJ Whalen. Hes more mobile and when given the go ahead can be as accurate as anyone I have seen around here anyways.
