Just want to say congratulations to Coach Paschall and the Bradford Lady Red Devils. This guy has worked super hard and really pushed these young ladies for a few years now and caught some flack along the way. The hard work has obviously paid off, and the Lady Red Devils are very deserving. Listen, this is playoff basketball. The substate, not Pee-wee. Coaches are not going to take any chances and trying to prepare kids for the state tourney. Congrats on making it to sub-state, butI get tired of listening to folks complain about running the score up. Take it and get better.

Was anyone surprised by Rutherford's win against Allons? (I wasn't as I've watched them go undefeated this season 26-0) So much was said about the strength of Allon's team, which was probably deserved, but nothing has been said about their defeat except some complaints about officiating.

Congratulations to the Pirates from Rutherford who finished up a 26-0 season on Saturday by defeating Allons to win the 2A TNT Title.

who won the allons/south pittsburg game? final score? rutherford defeated linden in the other semis.

Several games were played Friday. Rutherford girls won easily. TCA boys won. Rutherford boys won by four against a talented Philadelphia team. Pickett Co boys lost but not sure who they played. We were told the tourney would be extended another weekend to allow for games to be made up.

I sure wouldn't overlook the Pirates from Rutherford who may just have their best team ever. At 23-0 and already winners of three championships this season, the 2A runnerups from last season will be tough to beat.
