i played football and soccer during high school... and i liked soccer a lot more because the action never stops... i personally hated stoping for 1-2 minutes between every down in football to "make a play", it gets old... i agree that in America today, especially in the south, football will usually bring in more $ than soccer... but comeon man, you can't just kick another sport aside because it doesn't bring in as much $, soccer players have just as much right to the field as anyone else.. trust me.. you won't want football to be pushed aside when soccer becomes the dominant sport in this country... it already is the sport of the rest of the world... i beleive that our country will come around sooner or later too... and as for "real men" playing football... that's one of the most ridiculous statements ive ever heard... some of the best athletes in the world are soccer players... so mabey you need to "grow up"

Sorry to hear about that shaggy haired guy that played d-fense, cant remember his number but that guy was GREAT... I'm sure that Livingston will do great in tournament anyway but He would have really helped out a lot... Back to the topic... you can probably check soccerinfo.com for the rest of the scores... Boyd, congradulations on the game the other day. You actually gave LA a decent run and caught them off guard. but im curious as to how you play on a normal-sized field ((there's something wrong when a keeper can throw a ball across the half line, which, i know is not your fault but it is still a factor)) i hope that your 5 midfielders have been running a whole lot or something because im sure that they will be quite winded by the end of the game. and i hope that your ready to go up against robo-leg when you play them at home. sorry, but i have to agree w/ cates. Whether or not your school's football team respects your soccer team has nothing to do w/ how good they are. It's good that your football team doesn't think that you are to high and mighty to even support your soccer team, but that only shows that you have good, supporting fans. ((now to get back to the topic of the board)) LA is a very good team, and i would like to see them play a lot more "good" teams. It's bad luck that such a talented team is stuck in the worst distict in the state, but hey, i'll be pulling for you guys in regionals and any other tournaments that you go to.
