    18-0

6-0 is by no means a close game.
  2. Who is going to be on the All district 11-AAA?
  3. You can't say that he is by far the best frosh of sophomore in the state. He might be good, but if he could take anyone, his team would be recording a lot more wins. Besides, I know a whole load of great underclassmen, but none of them are good enough to take a team on their shoulders. Well, I know one in Girl's soccer, but that's off topic.

    18-0

If I was playing, I wouldn't care if they passed the ball around. That's absurd to think that a team would be more demoralized if they lost 6-0 and the other team passed the ball then losing 18-0 and a team puts stupid little restrictions to score.

    18-0

I agree with the last post. Work on passing the ball around or something. Think about how the other team feels, because I'm sure you'd feel like crap if Farragut came and beat you 18-0.
  6. Now that TSSAA has allowed 8 teams to go to state and region losers to go to sub-state, I'm trying to understand how this will work. Here's what I've got: Region 1 Winner vs Region 2 runner up Region 2 winner vs Region 1 runner up and so on. Ok, so 2 teams from each region go through. Here's my problem. Lets say that Region 1 Winner wins and Region 1 runner up wins. Will they play eachother in the quarterfinals of state? This raises an interesting subject. Lets use the great teams of Farragut and Bearden as examples. As you all know, these teams are in the same district. Most likely they will meet in the finals of that district. The winner plays the runner up of the opposing district, and the loser will play the winner of the other district. Still with me??? Farragut and Bearden both win their game, and play eachother again in the region finals. Then we put into play the new sub-state system. Here's where I'm seeing problems. If both Farragut and Bearden win, will they have to play a third time in these playoffs??? Hopefully they will do something different, lets say this(teams I'm picking are purely for the purposes for this post): Ok, here are my picks for State From Region 1 and 2: Farragut and Bearden From Region 3 and 4: Blackman and Mcminn Co. From Region 5 and 6: Hendersonville and Brentwood From Region 7 and 8: Houston and Germantown ok, there are the teams that make it. Now like i said before, it would be a shame to see Farragut and Bearden play so soon. Here's what I think should happen. Now since the beginning of High School soccer here, the record during the season is only important for district seeding. What if those season records had play for state seedings! For simplicity sake, lets show how seedings would be played out. Here's how seedings would be set: 1. Farragut 17-0 2. Hendersonville 11-0-3 3. Bearden 17-1 4. Brentwood 15-1 5. Clarksville 17-1(record is better than Bwood, but Bwood beat them. 6. Mcminn Co. 12-1-1 7. Houston 10-5-2 8. Germantown???????(soccerinfo doesn't have their record then it just plays out easy. 1 vs 8 4 vs 5 3 vs 6 2 vs 7 This way, the best teams play later on in the state tourney. I don't know if they have something else figured out, this is just something i decided to put together.
  7. There is no way that Fairview is better than Brentwood or Centennial. Not close.
  8. Who will win this crutial game?
  9. eastside, What he means is that a team with only freshies and sophomores are just not physically able to compete. Ravenwood has good talent, but when you have to go up against seniors who are higher on the puberty scale, the physical maturity is just not there.
  10. oh my god. Please, just shut up. What an immature subject to discuss. Cmon guys, personal grudges aren't needed. I'll admit, its funny to read these stupid posts. And don't get mad at me when i say they are stupid. Dback is right, the game is over, you lost, move on. Eastside, I know that people annoy you, but please, PLEASE, ignore them. Especially since your rebuddle is only putting more disrespect towards your school. For the sake of getting this over with, I'm going to say this once: Fairview 5 Hickman Co. 0 There, game over. Good game to both teams. Good luck to you all for the rest of the season.
  11. I like your post, but I'd rather not here your side to religion. This is not the board to talk about Jesus.
  12. ok, look up at the thread. Get off the thread if you're not gonna stay on topic. Eastside, if someone says somethin that pisses you off, ignore them man. Be above them.
  13. i assume that the 1st seed will play the 4th seed and the 2nd seed will play the 3rd.
  14. well if u want to go into questionable calls, how about 4 yellow cards for centennial and none for franklin. How about the ref calling a push in the box which should be a pk, because it is a direct kick foul, but calling an indirect kick. How about the constant fouling against ryan mattison. Franklin was a very good team, and they desearvde to win, but don't say the refs denied you a goal, when he denied Centennial a good officiated game.
  15. Franklin just outplayed Centennial overall. Centennial had more shots, but all of them were off target or right to the keeper. Franklin is a very good team, and desearved this win. I was just dissapointed in Centennial's play, but I know that they are a better team, and will hopefully bounce back.
  16. hey dback, I hope you understand that i do not mean to diss your team. I'm glad that you are rising in your skills, and as a williamson co. resident, i support you 100%. I think some people are confused for this reason: They believe you are claiming to be the best. I want to clear it up for everyone on this thread that they do not mean this! All that they are trying to say is that they are improving! About the schedule, I don't expect you to play that kind of schedule. All I wish is that you would play more teams in Williamson Co. I know it is not your fault, I just hope to see you playing teams closer to home next year. Good luck for the rest of the season.
  17. To soccerdad, My definition of a good team is a team that plays consistent soccer, doesn't hold refs accountable for a loss(too much, anyways ) and a team that always tries their hardest. I haven't seen Fairview, and I never said they were a bad team; dont get me wrong. All i am saying is that they are not at the level of other A/AA teams. I do not believe they could beat Ridgeway or Linoir City. About the upsets, I agree with the AAA, A/AA, Div. II comment, but I still believe that upsets do not occur to the level of other sports. Spring Hill could never beat Brentwood this year, yet they are both AAA. To eastside, CPA is not ranked 5th in the state, i don't know where you got that.
  18. looks to me that your district is pretty weak.
  19. While I agree with you somewhat soccerdad, you must keep in mind that High School soccer is not like pro sports, where upsets are plentiful. Teams like Brentwood and Hendersonville don't want teams like Fairview on their schedule because they are looking to play better teams, so they can also get better. I don't mean to diss Fairview; I'm sure they have improved, but they are still not at that level of other teams. I'm glad they are getting better, but as it stands they are 0-2 in district play, and will play one of those teams again in district playoffs. I'm sorry, but not making it out of a 4 team district and saying that you are a good team is ridiculous.
  20. Here are my top three: 1. Tyler Trew 2. Justin Holland 3. Patrick Lazear
