Pete was a good coach and knew his soccer, thats not the problem. He didnt know how to control himself mentally and didnt treat people with respect unless he needed something. Only the people that were close to him could see this. This is probably why 95% of his players didnt like him, becuase they were treated like trash, especially if you didnt have any soccer skills. The players that were good were treated like gold. Smyrna might not be as good in the near future, but their attitude should change substantially for the better due to the fact that they wont always have the negative attitude coming from their coach. Lets all put the Pete Dakis era behind us and move on to the present. Good Luck Smyrna with whomever your coach may be!

Houston got just as many cards as Smyrna. Houston even got a red card as well, a double yellow--the same as Smyrna. Let's be real. Every foul whistled was followed by a card. At that rate in an extended game, there will be at least one or two players that will have two total fouls (which in this case = two yellows).

brentwood and hendersonville both lost

It was one of those games where one team dominates most of the game but cant capitalize on thier oppuritunities. Smyrna didnt play thier best soccer but took advantage of there chances. Adam leedle came up really big in the goal and nobody on the team let down for 80 minutes (or 88 for all the unneeded extra time). goal came off a cross from davenport and was volleyed in from the 18 over the keeper by gabriel. good luck in memphis smyrna, proud of you. it is only updated by whomever has the ability to do so. if one teams schedule is on there and anothers isnt, and the one team with the schedule completes that game it makes a record for the other team. so if the team without a schedule on soccerinfo plays a team with a schedule, that one game will show up but the rest of their games wont show unless the team that they are playing post the scores. man thats confusing

Smyrna pretty much dominated...scored 11 sec into the match.....5 minutes later.....and speratically throughout the rest of the game.
