Were in the state are you, I coach u-12 but dont fancy driving to memphis from the tri-cities

A wussy and afraid, I agree! If I was in his position I would also be afraid that some idiot out to make a name for themselves would be looking to injure me. There are enough players in the east of the state who all they can do is foul, so why would Adam want to go out on the field with a big target on his chest This is his college dream I am sure, a scholarship to a very good school, I am sure he would be loving school spirit when he is on the floor with a busted leg after some idiot redkneck chops him in half.

So who will reign supreme in the North East of the state. Science hill should be strong this year, DB will once again contend, Central have a few seniors looking for scholarships so do South. Tennessee High seem to get stronger every year????? What about coaches. Who is the best?

There was no sarcasim intended, I was simply asking, if he is so good why is he not playing Varsity. Is he a freshman or sophmore and the coach only allows them on JV. Is he on a very very good school program and there are better players in front of him and he is just waiting his turn. I dont know that is why I was asking

Wondering if anybody attended the TSSA AGM this past weekend in Nashville. Anything intereting happen. How did the vote go in regard to Div II and III state tournament.

Science hill have got a few freshman who should get a bit of playing time. Parker Camp very skillfull player needs to start on the weights and trying to put some weight on though.

coach, quick question if I can pick your brains for a minute In your opinion what is the best way for players to get noticed, should they be contacting the coaches of colleges they are interested in or leave it to the high school coach? What grade should the be starting to think about getting their name and schedule into coaches hands. Especially in a area that is not exactly well known for its high quality soccer. What about ODP? Thanks in advance.

Do most high school players play Club Soccer in the fall? I know there are some good select programs in the state, Knoxville, Nashville and Memphis. How many of the select teams are leading the way in getting scholarships for the players by attending college showcases.

So who will it be in the North East of the state, DB and Science Hill are usually the cream. Will Sullivan South continue to improve?

Anybody know if any of the seniors from Dobyns Bennett will be playing on a Saturday for the next few years, if so were. Flanary, Tripatoe, Big Ced, Thrope?????

This may sound like a stupid question but what happens at a football banquet. Any DB fans out there know? Is it worth going to? Also anybody know when it is and how much?

Will it be the same old, same old with DB vs Science Hill in the final or will any other schools being making a push to victory?

From our side of the field it looked like the coach was on the officials for most of the final quarter, also I may be wrong about the late hit and praise but from where I and the people around me sat it looked like some, maybe not all the coaches were not being to critical of this players actions.

I dont know if the two coaches shook hands, I am sure they did. I was at the game and a lot of the fans were shouting to run up the score and get another touchdown. There was two reasons for this: 1. The constant moaning of the McMinn coach to the officials late in the game when you had already lost. The officials are not perfect but leave off them when the actions and decisions are not going to effect the result of the game. 2. The terrible hit that some of the McMinn players did on a punt to #21 Moten, they just took him out, no concern for the ball or player, they were mad they were getting beat and they were going to hurt someone. The most disturbing thing was when these players ran off the field the coaching staff and players could be seen slapping them on the back acknowledging a good job.

Only a sophmore I am expecting an almighty battle when He and DB's #21 Moten are seniors (he is also a soph), hopefully Moten will be the main runner by then and it will be good to see them go against each other.

Wlidmanfan, were are the OR boys going, Booker, the other RB Guilame (sp) Thompson, any others.....

Now that the great season is over, who is being looked at from DB and by which colleges and who from DB is looking? What about Flanery, Throp, Hodge, Gaines, Tripato anybody else?

Great game for OR, good luck for next week. Like to say thanks to all the senior Indians for a great season, it was a pleasure to watch the effort and attitude shown. Good luck in your future efforts. See you Juniors next year.

Thanks, I was just wondering, him and flanery are big buddies, pair of them are real nice kids, I hope they both get looked at for a college they deserve it.
