  1. I have been looking at the papers and reading about some of the times around the state and the times and distances are pretty impressive. I was just wandering who the best all around male athlete in the state was?
  2. I am not real sure who is the fastest in each event nor do I really care. However, you all must have skipped English class in order to go practice. Colleges and Universities are just as interested in academics as they are athletics so I would suggest going to class (especially English) instead of running all day. haha
  3. Hey, you are right about the reason for cheering so my question is why do you guys never cheer. I have been to many game at SC and I have never seen the student section get the least bit rowdy. If it were not for the parents, the gym would be totally quite. Why don't you three stooges just stay home on Thursday night and we will see if we can get the Cocke County students section to come and wear purple. You guys are jokes! Now, you three stooges get on here and pump each other up with your lies and absurd comments about how rowdy you all get. The rest of us will come to the game tomorrow night only to see the mighty SC student section sitting on their thumbs. Just stay home and do everyone a favor because if you guys are not there at least it woun't be as embarrassing as letting five more students from the other school scare your pants off.
  4. Hey guys, all I heard about was how rowdy the SC student section was and according to several of the players parents five Cocke County students made all of the mighty SC student section look pathetic. I did not get to go to the game due to having to work over-time, but according to the players parents that I talked to today a work...you guys were terrible and embarrassing. They said that CCHS had five students who stood and chanted the whole game while the SC student section sat on their butts holding hands with each other. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM! How can five students from a visiting school come into your house and take over like that. All of the parents said it looked like you all were afraid to say anything for fear of getting beat up. Maybe you guys should call the CCHS students and take some notes on how to be a student section. Both B-ball teams are out there playing thier hearts out and you guys just sit over there like knots on a log. YOU GUYS ARE PATHETIC!!!
  5. Please name one game in which the SCHS student section got rowdy. I agree with whoever said that the parents are louder because they are right. You said the sub-state game last year...you are as stupid as you are apathetic. If you think that was a rowdy student section then you need to visit some of the schools that SC plays week in and week out...they are the ones that make your comments look like a joke. Man you need to get out of Sevier County every once in a while...see how the rest of the district is making fun of your rowdy student section. Next game I come to, I will bring a pillow so I can nap.
  6. Crazed student section? I have been going to SC basketball games for years now and I must say the SC has the worst student section in Tennessee. I have heard more cheering at a nursing home bingo game. SC students are the most apathetic group in maybe the whole country. If there is going to be any noise from students, Seymour better bring theirs. Anyway, my prediction is SC by 3, but it goes to the wire.
  7. ETSUbound1- I know that Redding, Uner, Russell, King, nor any of the freshmen play any other sports. You will probably say that Russell and Uner both played sofball last year with Broyhill, but we all know that the assistant b-ball coach is the softball coach and that they did not have abide by the same rules as the other softball girls and so I do not consider that playing another sport...niether does Coach Huskey for that matter. Kremer is not playing any other sports this year and probably not any more throughout her career at SC. That leaves soccer which has Broyhill, Fox and Porter, and track which has Tarwater, Fox and Fleming. That is six that play other sports and 10 that do not...if you want to add Uner and Russell because of the joke soccer team, that is still 8 that do and 8 that do not. You would think that if thier head coach was so up on the girls playing other sports that there would be less than half not playing any other sports. Coach Huskey has always said that he "didn't mind the girls playing other sports as long as it did not effect their basketball...i.e. summer b-ball, fall ball, and b-ball season). As you probably know, they more than forty games in the summer, about 20 in the fall, and about 30-40 in the regular season, when is another sport not going to effect all that time. Man, get you facts straight like I have and stop shooting off at the mouth. You sound like you are in high school because most of them shoot off at the mouth without any proof to back up their story.
  8. Uner for AAA, are the two of you crazy or just plain stupid. Cait McMahan absolutely destroyed Uner in the last game. Not to mention that Cait has absolutely destroyed everyone that she has played. Uner is having a good year but you two are just talking crazy. When Uner faces a good point gaurd she completely folds under the pressure. Stop embarrassing SC.
  9. scbballfreak and schsbears...I wish you two would stop getting on coacht and embarrassing Sevier County as you have been doing all season. It is fine to talk about your team doing well, but you two are just a little too bias and that makes you sound crazy. It is true that SC has beaten some good teams early in the season, but it is also true that they have not beaten anyone worth a hill of beans since the break. They have only played two worthy opponents since then and they are 0-2 in those contest. Seymour and Heritage figured out how to beat SC. It is quite simple actually, press without giving up the easy lay-up, and play mam to man defense. They figured out that the SC point gaurds (other than Uner) cannot handle the press and that Uner gets frustrated by man defense and it knocks her off her game. Seymour and Heritage also found ways to beat our press defense and that is with a good point gaurd. Uner is the only one that stands a chance of guarding a good point gaurd and she struggles when they are better than just good. I think SC will have a chance to make it back to the boro but the road will be much tougher this year than in the past due to lack of height and leadership. However, back to my original statement, please stop talking all of this nonsense and trying to bash everyone that disagrees with your obsurd statements. Sincerely, just another fan of district 4 b-ball
  10. Just to set the record straight on Coach Huskey Making his girls play other sports. That is not true, he does not discourage them though as long as it does not interfer with his program, his words not mine. I can name more than five girls on the basketball team right now that do not play any other sports at SC. Now, I agree with that SC is above average, but as of late they have only played two teams that were of any calliber and they lost both of them. I think they are playing a little more like a team, but any team can get along as long as they are playing advanced middle school teams. I would like to see how this team reacts when they get behind again. SC is not a team, they are five individuals on the court trying to make themselves look good. I do not care who you are, if you have ween SC play one time this year you know I am right. When they face a TEAM, they will lose.
  11. I do not know if you can call beating Bearden and the worst Farragut team I have seen in a while(minus their best player due to injury) as rebounding. I am not saying that they will lose or not play well anymore this season, but I think we should wait until this week is over before we call them rebounded.
  12. Hey scbballfreak, just our of curiosity...Are you basing your statement that SC is back on the fact that they beat the powerhouse lady Bulldogs or do you know the team on a more indepth level. In my opinion, SC has only played about three ball games this season in which they looked like a unified team ( Mt. Juliet, Bradley Central, and the first Heritage game). Other than these games, they have looked like a team just trying to survive. I also have heard that the team is not getting along too well...what is you take on this.
  13. I would just like to set the record straight because scbballfreak does not know what they are talking about. Sevier County sat in a 2-3 zone for about the first five trips down the court and then went to a man-to-man defense. The problem was that none of the Sevier County players could come close to guarding Cait and she was just putting on a clinic out there. Sevier County then went back and forth between the zone and the man defense but niether of them worked obviously. As far as the Heritage coach not stopping the celebration...that is just not true. He went to shake hands with coach Huskey and when he turned around and saw what was going on he was hot. He started yelling at them to get into the dressing room and then he made them go to the SC dressing room and apologize. What they did after the game was not bad but where they did it and when they did it was very inappropriate. I do apologize for scbballfreak and their crazy, biased, and down-right wrong tellings of what happened friday night. The Bearrettes were out played in every aspect of the game. However, not all of us Sevier county fans are bitter about the game, we just know we got out-played and hope it does not happen again. We are not all up here in Sevierville pointing fingers at refs and unclassy opponents in hopes of straying the readers from the fact that we got whipped.

    To all DB fans

Hey DBHS1, thank you for showing me that DB still has fans with class. I have always been treated respectfully by most DB fans when I have visited Kingsport and when they have visited my home school. However, thanks to some others who have posted on this thread, I though that all of the classy DB fans had left the state. Thanks for correcting me.

    To all DB fans

Hey Waco, I have not seen any post on here about the game itself from McMinn County fans. The only thing McMinn County fans are writing on here is about defending their coach who was wronged by the false quote, by a DB fan (skunk). I do not understand where you get off saying that McMinn Fans are crying either. No one on here, at least that I have read, from McMinn is compalining about anything other than the slanderous lie that Skunk placed on here about the McMinn Coach. If any fans were yelling to run the score up on McMinn just because a senior lost his cool on one play (same play that a DB player lost his head on in the 1st quarter), then those fans don't have any class either. I honestly used to think that DB fans had some class in the past but you will never hear me say that or see me type that again. Win or lose this past season, Coach Hutchins displayed as much if not more class than any other coach. As far as getting onto the refs, it does not matter the score or what string is on the field, if refs continue to make bad calls and are not corrected by the coaches, someone could get hurt. I am not saying that the officiating was bad at DB because I thought overall it was good, I am just talking about officiating in general.
