Lamon has been (rightly) kicked off the DB team, what does anybody think will happen. 1. Will he eat humble pie and make up and apoligise and be on the team next season? 2. Transfer to another school, not to sure on the rules but have heard that if he transfers he would not be able to play for a year? 3. Forget about football and concentrate on Basketball 4. Hope he has done enough to get recruited and miss his Senior year 5. Just give up on the football, due to not wanting to be seen as weak, and end up working in McDonalds I hope it is #1

I agree DB is a real good band, I wish they would play some modern stuff get the crowd moving. McMinn had about ten people in their band last week and they stayed in the stands, they played some modern stuff, a bit of Beyonce and you could see people in the DB crowd enjoying it and moving the DB cheerleaders were moving I even saw some of the DB dancing when McMinn was playing the modern stuff. Maybe DB should do like UT do, send some of the Band to different parts of the stand and play!

What are you still doing on the Net, shouldnt you be getting in the car, traffic in Knoxville I hope is not to bad. Went to get my season tickets on Tuesday and the whole stand looked like it was sold out. Main reason I want DB to win tonight, I have 7 of my family flying in from the UK next week, they have never been here before and I would love to take them to a DB game, cheerleaders, band, attitude and intensity! It was reported in the Local Paper that Coach Clark was not happy with his work rate in practice, there was an argument, Coach Clark stopped him practicing and told him there was still achance he could play if he came and talked to Clark on Wednesday to sort it out, Lamond choose not to meet with Clark, end of story.

Lamon needs to realise that he is a big fish in a small pond here in the Tri-Cities, if he ever does go to a college to play he is just going to be the little fish from Hickville, Tenessee in a very big pond!

Got to agree with you there, although Williams is a hellever player, I would rather lose him than anybody you mentioned. Flanery, Throp and Nottingham are the heart of this team, Moten is 'da man' McMillan, Hayes and Gaines could really step up this week, Tripato may also get some more calls, Dusty Fletcher is not quite at William's level but he knows how to run routes and catch the ball. Should make the game even more exciting, Cotey is kicking the ball much further that the first time these two teams played, into the end zone on the vast majority of kick off's, this will stop OR running it all the way back or even into good field position.

As a DB fan, season ticket holder, sports coach and father of a future DB student and hopefully football player, I would like to say thank you to Coach Clark for remembering that this is High School Athletics, and respect, discipline and attitude should come before any sporting event. For him to discipline a player for lack of respect and work effort the week before one of DB's biggest games is admirable and beyond reproach. I have only really started watching the Tribe for this past season, and continue to be more and more impressed with the coaching staff at DB, Lamond is a great player who I am sure will be Div I and who knows after that, hopefully this will be a lesson learnt and he will continue to grow as an athlete and a man.

We should all meet and go and get some B-B-Q before the game, support wich ever booster group is doing the food this week.

Anybody have any stats for any of these RB's in the east. Carries and yards. Booker is real good, hopefully he will be fit for this Friday, dont want to hear any excuses when DB win. Flanary's carries and yards, how does he compare to the other RB's?

Got to go with DB this Friday, I just dont think they will let OR rack the points up like the last game, should be a classic. Flanery is getting better if thats possible, McMillan looked real good, most impressed with #21 on Friday, McMinn took a real cheap shot on him on a punt and he just got up and jogged off, real class. Scary thing is some of the best players at DB are only Juniors, Williams, Hayes, Ferguson, McMillan... And one of the best I have seen at DB for a while is only a Sophmore and that is Moten

I did watch the game on Friday, I just thought that Lamon made some good open field runs but like you said Ferguson's mechanics were all wrong, he did not seem to have any zip in his passes and was hurried a few times by the defense. I hope the DB def line is better to many big wholes up the middle against Bearden. Roll Tribe Roll!!

DB are going to struggle this week. They looked terrible on Friday against Bearden, at the moment Ferguson looks like he is just waiting to get hit when he tries to scramble, Lamond is running but the O Line is struggling to keep the D away, thank god for Flanery. If OR have a runner up the middle DB will come unstuck, 3 or 4 times the DB Defensive line was like the red sea, split straight down the middle, Bearden 22 skipping straight through.

Has he moved there? big loss for Db, is he playing QB in gate city?

What happened to Joe Erwin, did he not play against North. read the local High School preview and did not see his name? Is he not playing this season???
