  1. He did not, thanks to the ankle. What a great game though, by both teams. Sounds like Miles was huge in the clutch. Is Ensworth Legit??
  2. Brentwood Acdemy has got some pretty good freshman. Stallings son can shoot real well, while theyre 6'6 swingman can score if he gets comfortable on the court. They also have a real large post player whos like 6'5 220. Hes good, but not in the clutch.
  3. this north player everyone is talking about is worth the hype. hes a transfere from the nashville area and can hoop it up. Ive seen him play alot, and hes quite a ball player. although tall, coaches will make a mistake by putting him at a post position, becasue he can handle the ball and shoot the lights out. too bad he has no support................
  4. brentwood academy starts there season against mba on the 25 but they have a scrimmage at jt moore on the 18. They already played st.edwards recently and the score was like 60-20. the big thad kid had like 16 points along with the tall kid who started at four. The shooting guard had about 12-14 and their other big post had 10. they played alright, but i heard st ed's stinks.
  5. the nike team played really well in substate this week. I saw one game on friday where they played The knoxville lakers. They were a tough team but nike demolished them by 35. I was impressed on the play of their returning starters. The point guard did a great job not turning the ball over and passing. their small forward did pretty well for his first tourniment all season. His shot was off, but he ran the floor well and passed the ball the best expertly. nike should win this substate by a large margin.
  6. the yab tigers in my opinion is better than the mottep panthers they scrimmaged them and the tigers won.
  7. hey hoopluv i know a team that needs someone like you. they will be going to missouri this friday, the coach is walter morgan and joshua bone reply asap they need a big man.
  8. I think that the wildcats will beat the future in 13u, but the Nike Select team has won a few in a row. They might give the wildcats competition, but I don' t know if they would beat them. As for 14u, Nike Select will definetly win that, no questions asked !
  9. hey come to brenatwood academy at 10:00 4-26-03
  10. yab will be going to different tourneys throughout the summer they are a traveling team.
  11. wassup man if you dont play for an aau team i know a team that could use a big man come to brentwwod academy at 10:00 4-26-03
  12. lookin for a forward or a center that is 6'4 and taller and very agressive. come to brentwood academy saturday at 10:00 to try out 4-26-03
  13. tremayne should see more playing time next season along with the other two standouts joshua bone and brandon wright
  14. brentwood academy had a good jv team they had a good freshmen that i've seen play his name i think is tremayne townsend
  15. I know that the williamson co. wildcats are playing. They should be ranked pretty high.
  16. Krf,The pacesettlers did play Nike at MTSU.They stayed with them for a while until Nike blew them out and won by 45. Also, the 13 year olds played. Nike had three of its staters not play and one of the leading scorers show up at half time. Nike won by 15 or 20.
  17. fundamentals, the 14u nike team is great. Here's their key players C-Langhi(6'9)-Is a very good post player, thnks to his height. Could be a little stronger though PF-#44(6'3)-very strong player from white county.great post player. SG-Garret(6'2)-probably the best player in the state PG-Kottas-(5'11)-Very versitile point guard. Can shoot and pass like crazy.very fast and good at getting the ball up the court. They have one more starter, but I don't remember his name or number. But he shoots better than anyone ive seen recently
  18. I think that the top coach is John Patton. In addition to coaching both Nike teams who both are very succesful,he coaches the middle school basketball teams at BA. They have been incredibly succesful. Up to this year, the seventh grade team,i think, hadn't lost a game in a while . he also helps coach the eighth grade team with Lyle Husband. They won HVAC this year and posted a undefeated record. No questions asked, john patton is one of the best coaches and workers with kids in the state. what do you think.......?
  19. Yeah but hes slow and cant manuver as fast as McAdoo, and he's only a few inches shorter
  20. how would memphis run with Nike or the Wildcats
