NaS, show a little respect for the sunbright organization. lets not forget that a couple years back they won region 2-A. They shouldnt give up all sports because that would be more embarrasing then going out there and doing their best and not coming out on top.

i think that Oneida is consistently one of the better teams in region 2-A but i think this year that they will fall short to the Warriors and the 'Kees. I would have to say that i am convinced that the Coalfield-Oneida game will decide the 3rd place team in this region.

BUBBA61, correct me if im wrong but did you not completley disagree with me a few weeks ago when i said that greenback was about 20 points better than anyone else? and i also agree that the warriors of CAK have the best chance of beating greenback although oneida gave them all the wanted and more in the playoffs last year.

this year CAK plays a team called Temple High. I have never heard anything about them so if anyone knows anything could they please tell me like last years record, their best players and if they are a good team or not. thanks in advance to any responses.

the only problems i see coming for DB is Jeff Co. and Oak Ridge but those teams arent unbeatable for this years team.

id have to say that the Brentwood Academy teams from 95-97 are some of the best ive ever seen offensively.

i do understand where your coming from brian, honestly i would take James over Cunningham a good amount of the time too but i was just pointing out that James along with Lowe were not the only impressive QB's in Region 2-A

kingbrian, i do agree that Lowe and James were better QB's than Cunningham but i cant think of a better one-two punch than Cunningham to Japp. You could hear that over the loudspeaker all night long. Lowe to Hensley was good but i think that Cunningham to Japp was better. I also would much rather have Cunningham than Lowe and James if i were running a more pocket passing style. Lowe was good on the run for his team but i liked Cunninghams arm better. Didnt really get that good of a look at Austin James because they took him out pretty early from what i remember.

well all i know is this guy had to have 4 people help him off the field when one of our linebackers hit his knees and then he was walking around shaking our hands after the game.

I wanted to get feedback on what peoople thought about how CAK will do this upcoming season. Such as their record, if they will make the playoffs, how deep into the playoffs can they advance, and will this be one of the best teams they have had. i agree with you BUBBA CAKs team is returning most of their starters and have made it too AT LEAST the state semis the past 2 years. also first team all district players Catherine Pearson and Kaitlin Gunter will be returning as well as second team players Ashley Bisese, Rebecca Graves and Bethany King. Catherine Pearson was also All-KIL and All-State.

im gonna give them a record of 1-9 with a win over Sunbright, 2-8 if they get lucky against Cosby

not really sure if theyre gonna be any better than last season so i predict 1-9 with a win over Taft School

6-4 maybe 5-5 i dont know how the game with oneida will come out. whoever wins that game will be 3rd in the region.

id have to say that #32 John Douglass from CAK is a pretty good runningback in this years senior class. he is very versatile and plays both tailback and fullback. his stats are pretty low but that is because he had a foot injury for part of the year that led to CAK replacing him with an equally good tailback. john is just as good at fullback then tailback and he will be the starter this year. knocked a guy out cold at sunbright in 2001.

you mean coalfield i hope pennyplay, anyways seemed like coalfields team wasnt as good as it has been in years past (even though they finished second) i know CAK gave them a good game and they were lucky to pull it out but i do see them having a good team finishing 3rd only to Greenback and CAK.

CoalfieldFBall, you are mistaken about Greenbacks cheerleaders not winning any sort of championships. i had 2 friends on the 2001 national championship squad. check your facts man.
