Who are the quality summer teams, coaches, and players for highshool level??

East Cobb teams are usually pretty strong, so the team must be pretty quality. I don't recognize a lot of those names, are any of the studs?

Well, it sounds like Chatt. State is going to be a very quality program next year. They seem to have some good signees, and if they can get all 5 Brent Laynes, they just might be unbeatable..lol

I used to hear a lot about a SS from William Blount, Dusty Holden. They say he was a quality player. I didn't get to see him play much, but I do know he sat the state record his sophomore year with 4 homers in 1 game, more impressive, he only swung the bat 4 times that game.

For somebody who's grown up around Blount County baseball, can you give a top ten list of Blount County's best players, whether they be in the present or in the past

How are the players that have gone to college doing in college? I know the names of Cleveland State, Chattanooga State, and Walters State are all junior colleges, and if Blount County has players in those programs, maybe we'll see some transfers to D1 level colleges.

Who are some names of quality players that have graduated from blount county schools? And where are they now?

Yeah ballman, I couldn't tell you either. It's frustrating to know you it's there, but you can't put it all together. From from I hear, they returned the whole pitching staff from last year except one. And we all know that pitching is the key to winning/staying in ball games. But putting it all together and learning how to win ballgames with the team you have and showing each player their role...................that's the coach's job.

William Blount put up a solid record last year at 30-8, and this year 3-4, 1-3 in district play. They only lost 3 contributing players, so I do not understand what's goin on. Last night they got plastered 7-2 by Heritage. Not knocking Heritage, but William Blount threw like maybe their #5. I don't understand the coaching stand point on that in a district game. I've also seen William Blount face Farragut the last 2 years, and they have only thrown a top 3 pitcher 2 of the 6 games. What's going on with their program??

Last I heard Hagy and Cunningham were both thinking about Cleveland State, but neither one was on the Spring roster. I'm a Knoxville resident, and I watched Farragut and Blount showdowns last year, both teams had some real players, Hagy and Cunningham being 2 standouts from W.B. It's a shame if he's really out with a thumb injury.

You can't count William Blount out. Maryville did blast William Blount 11-1 on a Sunday afternoon the day after prom. If this rain quits, the resillient Governors will work through the losers bracket, and we'll see Farragut and William Blount in the Region tournament. William Blount has had far too good a season to quit now, the Govs are now 29-8 and are ranked top 10 in the state. "They are on a MISSION"

We will more than likely see William Blount this weekend in the Oak Ridge held tournament, and viewing their record they seem to have a pretty good team. What players are there to look for, and are they as good as their record shows?
