20 runs in 2 games against the Yard Dogs! What do you call sticking it to you? Run ruiled them last weekend at Loudon. You can't just throw people together and play and win. The Yard proves that!

Yeah the Prospects did spot them six runs in the first. After that they only gave up 4 runs. Then turned around and beat the Yard 9-2. How well did your team do?

East Tennessee Prospects are playing in the Showcase put on by Gregg Legg of Perfect Game at Auburn July 5-11

East Tennessee Prospects beat the Yard in Yards Tournament last weekend at Loudon 11-1. This weekend Prospects beat the 17's 8-6 then beat the 18's 9-2 at Tennessee Wesleyan. That is 20-3 in two games against all those D-1 signees. Can't explain it.

I just love seeing all of these post about the Prospects. Very fundamentally strong. Good bats, great pitching , and coaching. I think they will do well. Money did not buy this team like some of the BIG BOYS in Knoxville.

East Tennessee Prospects Beat East Cobb Brewers in Chattanaooga Saturday. Tied the Paris Thunder, and beat Macon, GA Tigers. Lost to Chattanooga Cyclones Saturday Night.

Where is Coach Hawkins? Seems to have gone AWOL!

So what has happend to Coach Hawkins? He was on here talking SMACK when they were winning. As the old saying goeas Where have you gone Joe Dimmagio?

:PAnother close loss by the no hitting Rebels. As usual Coach Hawkins can't get anyone past third. Continues to stick with the same hitters who can't seem to hit. Go ahead Coach and have the courage to make a change. What can it hurt at this point?

I do believe this was against Maryville. Again, great coaching at third.

Maryville does not hit the ball well. Last year they did not hit well. 1 OR 2 runs was all Maryville needed to be in any game. Not this year. Now the same girls are not winning because the hitting is not there. Whitney Riesers name was mentioned. She is the best hitter on Maryvilles team and rarely plays. Why? When you are not scoring runs more coaching decisions have to be made also. Maryville has lost several 1 run games trying to manufacture runs when bad decisions were made. Also, go coach your team instead of arguing and begging for praise with teenagers.
