Good luck on the rest of the season... And don't you agree when i say that these teams have maybe the best two athletes in the district. (Bonner and Austin). Those aren't the only ones but two that REALLY stand out.....Well anyway I wish i would have been there.......

What are some predictions on tonight's game.. I say Westmoreland by 8.....

Performance rank: BAD... They turned the ball over frequently, shot horribly, and didn't crash the boards.. They have played much better, and should have won handily.....

Yeah HIT or PAT ON THE BACK...... Same thing huh... I hope we can pull it out.. We will need to play a close to flawless game because Gordonsville is tough, and as much as i hate to say this they are the team to beat in 8a and maybe even in region 4a... Westmoreland has a tough team... Some of Mrs. Abner's toughness has rubbed off on the girls... Jones is a heck of a player yes, but you can't forget about the other key-player Franklin... She is a heck of a player on the defensive end of the floor, and has the ability to hit the big shot....

HEYYYYYYYY BABYYYYYYYYYY!!! we are here... I don't know where all the Westmoreland people are.. hmmm............ Maybe we have better things to do than stay on the net all day... Anyway, I think that this will be a great game.. Westmoreland will not get beat by 15.. That is a crazy prediction.. It was all the Gordonsville could do to win the last meeting.. I think this will be a close game and could go either.. I would love to go to this game, but i have to work, so I will definately be on here tomorrow night.... p.s. Westmoreland has a 2-0 record in jungles this year... Just something to think on...

Well, i'm gonna move on and stop argueing in a battle that i will never win.. From what i saw we played the same defense that we have played all year.. This isn't the first time that a team has said that we have ran a box and one when we really ran man..(Gordonsville) so Myself and Tennisguy have our beliefs and you have yours... Oh.. Tenniguy, i am moving back to lafayette. Give me a holla and we can go to Hooters...

Portland executed and Westmoreland didn't... I think they had a chance to tie the game with 45 seconds left.. Benson was wide open for a lay-up and jones threw a bounce pass that was bobbled and rolled out of bounds.. They had their chance and Portland did a good job of applying the pressure to win the game..

Nope... I don't have the slightest clue about the game of basketball... And i dont know what a box and one looks like, I have only been to every game that Westmoreland has played this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Box and one??? Steven Bonner played one-on-one defense on him all night... Westmoreland played the same style defense as they always do.... And i will admit Brewer dished more than normal tonight, but Bonner and Duggin gave an incredible defensive effort.. Bonner by the way averages 19 a game and scored 0.. that was probably because he exerted most of his energy on defense.....

I think it will be a good game... It will not be pretty in the first three of four minutes because Westmoreland's two three best anthletes and two best players will not start.. Custer, Bonner, and Parker. Stevo is not starting because of his technical foul against vb. Custer and Parker missed practice yesterday because they had to go to court for speeding tickets.. They will be subbing in in the early first quarter more than likely....

The lady eagles of Westmoreland are ranked by the Tennessean's sports staff as the #10 team out of all classes... What are some thoughts on this??? Keep up the good play lady eagles!!!!!!

I would have to agree with tennisguy about brewer being a good guy.... I was pretty good friends with him when i went to macon county, and played against him my freshman year... And as far as the game goes... I will say that i am as big a fan of Westmoreland as you will find, but it is gonna be extremely tough for the Eagles to go into Portland and beat the panthers on their home floor... Maybe they can play as well as they did in the first meeting.. And who knows with the production from Bonner and Custer if they get a bigger contribution from junior post Nick Parker, They might have a chance... but overall to win this game the eagles pretty much need to play a flawless game... Good luck to both teams...

Had more heart and wanted the game more than Westmoreland???? you have got to be kidding.... When the stats of the game are Westmoreland 43 fouls to vb 17???? How in the world is a team supposed to beat another team and the refs who have picked on one player the whole game(Custer)???? Dont get me wrong vb is not a bad team at all, but they got outplayed tonight..... I am not one to usually make up exuses, but now i know how Clay Co. felt earlier in the year when they got beat by VB.. Our guys played well enough to win, but when you have 6 players with four fouls or fouled out, WHAT CAN YOU DO??????????? anyway good game vb... I just wish it would have had better officiating......................and we thought it was bad Friday night..........

What about Westmoreland???? They are 17-2.. With their only two losses coming in tournaments.... So i think that their regular season record is 15-0.... Is that not top ten worthy???
