  1. Chatsworth, CA still has games to play. I know California doesn't have a state champion, only regions because the state is so big, but he's hoping that Farragut can move into that #1 spot and secure a fat ring from Baseball America...
  2. we beat you in football and i think you should win a game before you speak
  3. OK, I SCREWED UP. THINGS I SAID MAY HAVE upset SOME PEOPLE OFF, AND I SHOULDNT HAVE SAID SOME THINGS. MY FAULT. I'M SORRY IF SOMEONE IS SO UPSET WITH ME THAT IT HAS BECOME A PERSONAL THING, OR IF IT DAMAGED TIES WITH THEM, IM SORRY. I'M A STRONG SUPPORTER OF FARRAGUT BASEBALL AND I PROBABLY TOOK IT TOO FAR, I SHOULDNT HAVE TALKED FOR PLAYERS, THAT WAS WRONG. I APOLOGIZE TO THE TEAM AND ANYONE ON THE TEAM THAT MAY HAVE BEEN UPSET BY THINGS THAT I SAID. I WAS WRONG. I WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT FARRAGUT BASEBALL AND I WILL STILL BE AT EVERY FARRAGUT BASEBALL GAME FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR, ESPECIALLY IN THAT TOWN WEST OF HERE. TO THE FARRAGUT ADMIRALS I AM SORRY, GOOD LUCK THE REST OF THE YEAR. GO ADMIRALS! THANK YOU TO GAMEDAY AND theFH FOR THE HONESTY.
  4. You might be mistaken there, I've interviewed Kyle more than once for the yearbook. I didn't put anything in there that he didnt want and he told me after the book came out that he liked the article. So maybe you're just trying to fight a battle for yourself...obviously you know I am, the name gives it away, so who am I talking to? I stand by the fact that in the end it was Kyle who decided to pitch against SD. Coach made the decision to give him the option but he said he would throw, his decision. We arent making any new points here, we disagree, lets agrue about something else...
  5. I don't think this one will be close, greenville has a sub-.500 record, how did they make it to sub-state? Farragut 16 (4 HR) Greenville 0 4.5 Innings What's everybody else think?
  6. You are an idiot. You need to get off this topic. The only time i ever "quoted" kyle is when i said... Posted on: May 15 2004 - 03:35 PM I'm telling you that Kyle told people that it was his decision to pitch or not to pitch in the S-D game. Believe it or don't i don't care. I have never quoted Kyle. We disagreed on if he should start two games this week and then you got obsessed. So when you say "all these threads" how about you know what you're talking about...
  7. I must admit that after beating SD i expected a better showing from Halls. I do think that if they had thrown their top 2 pitchers the game would have been much closer. Halls just blew tonight. A lot of people give up HRs to Farragut, but back2back2back is kinda rediculous... Anyone know the Greenville-DB score?
  8. tbird, lets go ahead and make that your last post. that lacked both content and humor, you are wasting people's time. lets grill out tomorrow before the game...
  9. Halls really suprised me with the win over SD, especially when they had a 7-1 lead. However, let me be the first to predict the Farragut win. This one could go the full 7 innings...
  10. Way to be a moron. You're talking to a player that would have started on a state championship team if it weren't for an injury. Anyone who makes the team at Farragut would star at a lesser school... FYI - New baseballamerica poll has Farragut at #4 in the country, down one spot after losing to Maryville. http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/leagu.../2004top25.html
  11. No sorry didnt get to speak to him. Maybe you should calm down though. It's just coacht, not a big deal. But I do think Karns proved my point that any pitcher on Farragut could have won that game...just a thought
  12. Thats right, I quoted myself, just wanted to make sure everyone noticed the prediction. It appears that I'm the one who is right this time...
  13. Quality post HiwasseeVol, not to many people know that much about two different teams in high school. Thanks for the knowledge.
  14. I was going to argue this point but, you're right. It doesn't look good that three players in East TN alone go SEC and he doesn't get any of them, but there are a dozen other kids from Webb, Farragut, and other local schools playin DI next year and I've only found one kid from TN going to UTK, maybe Rod thinks he gets better talent from outside the state. As far as not getting Kyle, i think he was at a disadvantage there because of UTK's academic standing. I never heard Kyle talk about going to UT throughout the recruiting process. I think he wanted out of knoxville too... Hope Delmonico makes another magical run in the playoffs like in the past...
