Lewisburg had thier bad game last week against Lewis county b/c we definately didn't play to our full potential so this week is our time to shine!!

How many Bad games do you have ?

Your right that appeal on the grounds of "we thought we understood" and "well everybody is jealous" should have convincing. I must admit I didn't see the "mean girl" defense coming. I'm now convinced that SM should win with their "dumb prom queen" appeal...that was a stroke of genius. The board of control probably couldn't stop laughing long enough to.get anything accomplished

The only place Hastings messed up is not firing Billy Holt. Holt only seeks to use the kids to his own accord. Don't have to worry about allowing Holt to come back though....NOBODY would have him. Even on the coat tails of Tyler Smith he couldn't make a move. I know your a huge Billy Holt fan and a student of GCHS basketball, So honestly look at the past, He had Smith and that whole group of excellent players for 4 years and only got to a championship on a miracle half court shot and a buzzer beater in the final game.

 

And how are we on the downhill? we lost to Lawrence County last year and shut them out winning by 4 touchdowns this year....if thats downhill.....LETS ROLL!!!!!!!

Lawrence County lost 21 starters from last year and 45 seniors combined from the last 2 years. The game Friday was 6-0 til the middle of the 4th Qtr, If you guys are only gonna insult the coaches(football & basketball) It's time for the moderators to do what they do best

Where are all the Wildcat fans? Word is the LC team is down a bit but Wildcat fans are most always up to talking a lil smack. So somebody tell me...whats the word on LC this year.

They took the Cowbell for the first time in a long time last year. GC was ahead at half and looked to take control as we recieved the kickoff, but the wheels fell off. So is LC just going to drive over this year and hand it back to us?

Don Thomas was hired as Head football coach at Lioncoln co. to replace Luis Thompson. Giles co. coach David O'conner accepted ,then rescinde earlier this month.

you can run veer out of anything...my senior year we ran veer out of shotgun with 2 backs beside the qb....although traditionally it is ran out of split backfield.

Milan is at another level than what the Jackets have experienced.

The Trojans will give Jo Byrns ALL they want or can handle.Jo Byrns district is not as strongly balanced as C'woods.Don't be too surprised if the Trojans upset the Devils.

I don't think the T$$AA could screw up the football playoffs any worse if they tried to.Have they ever organized even a 1-horse parade? They take 50% of the gross from the football play-offs to fund their salaries and all the trips to conferences they attend and screw the very schools that need the money from post season to fund their programs.Now with won-loss records being #1 protocol for seeding in the playoffs Schools wil be forced to try to lighten up schedules dopping traditional "money" games in lieu of trying not to hurt their own playoff chances.Who were the Coaches on the committee who opted out of last years seeding method for this one?As usual coaches tend to look no farther than how something would have benefited themselves, not what woulde be fair.Warning to T$$aa; keep messing with a good thing(football)and you'll lose your gravy train by turning over your own wagon!

Do you think CW might have sandbagged here and maybe has some stuff up his sleeve for the next meeting? He is a very good coach wouldnt be suprised if he done looked and knew there would be a 2nd round matchup no matter what. I dont know and I am not saying he threw the game but he just didnt pull out all of his magic tricks. Its hard for me to beleive WC beat CW like that.

You don't know about this rivalry if you have to ask that question.This game means MORE than the playoffs to these 2 schools.

Can you tell me why the tigers are hated,do you know last year when the bobcats was in the playoffs that there was at least 10 to 20 tiger football players in giles county supporting them every weekend up until they went to play for state and i dont know if any was at the state championship game or not but im sure it was.So can you tell me why they are hated i would really like to know, is it the past because if it is you and everybody else needs to let it go.it appears the athletes have. You are correct though every where and everybody they play hates them.
