Hendersonville High School will host a Middle School or Travel Team 14u/12u tournament of April the 24th and 25th. We could have a Middle School division and travel team division depending on the numbers. Great way to get a close early season tournament. You would be in pool F 5:00 Friday, 8:00 Friday and Saturday at 9:30. Had Maplewood to take place of Brentwood Academy and Wilson Central is going to take place of Decatur, but Maplewood is not going to play. I would like to get someone to take their spot and will let you play for free. I have made so many changes and don't want to make anymore. The Waverly Umpires Association will host the Tom Corbin Tournament on Friday April 17th and Saturday April 18th. The tournament will be held at Humphreys County Dixie Leagues Allen Complex. Entry fee is $140.00 with a four game guarantee. For more information contact Buddy Forrest 931-296-7446.

Hendersonville High School is looking for a 9th grade Football game on September 11th. It can be a home or away game. Clarksville Northeast called this morning and canceled a scheduled game. The Commando Classic will once again be the opening week of the season. We will have games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The tournament format will start on Friday and the other days will be pool games for teams that would like to play. The only thing different this year is we will let pool games end in a tie after one inning of tie-breaker. We had a few really long games last year. I will mail out packets in a week or so with the information and give teams that have played in the past the first opportunity to enter and then open it up. I can remember the days when we did not even start to schedule games until Christmas, this is hard on an old football coach.
