Lincoln County took a strong lead early in the game, then Lawrence Co. has overcome the deficit and lead by 3 at the half. Savannah has not played well with two fouls on the bench.

Tullahoma give Shelbyville all they wanted in the first quarter and took a one or two point lead at one point, but Shelbyville turned on the heat in the second quarter and pulled out the win. Subs played most of second half. Tullahoma has gotten a lot better since I have seen this rivalry over the last 20 years. Tullahoma used to be permanently in the basement, but they have come a long way and may actually give some teams a run for their money next year.

and the season is not yet over for both Shelbyville or Greeneville.

Whoa there! We have not even got to the end of the season and already thinking about team camp. I need my break first. LOL.

I was just responding to greenvillefan who asked who might have better record combined in past two years.

Shelbyville girls and boys went 62-11 combined last season and both went to state championship.

It looked like Shelbyville might run away with the game leading 17-7 after the first, but give Wilson Central credit. THey did a good job of overcoming a bad first quarter and tied the game to end regulation. The Eaglettes only had three kids in double digits, Phelps, Jarrell, Buchanan while Jenkins led WIlson Central with 25. Great game by both teams. Both have to go through tough district tourneys before possibly meeting again.

Eaglettes made a statement at home tonight. Subs played most of 4th quarter and some of third. Shelbyville rested starters to get ready for Wilson Central.
