  1. All of a sudden as the fall practice gets set to start the franklin county rebels have lost a truly great young coach.. we understand coach chris guess has resigned to pursue job opportunities away from the gridiron... Lordy what will the rebels do without such a mastermind of the game... the coach may not have been the offensive or defensive coordinator but probably should have been. What's next for a once proud football machine... Some body please.. Tell me It ain't so... Cocah Guess please don't go....
  2. coacht that's the 2nd time my info vanished from the site.. come on man it's america let me speak.. Maybe you can't handle the truth even if you don't have a dog in the fight.... find my message and post it.... come on man don't be a joke.. play straight
  3. Looking at the sports section of the local newspaper I found it very upsetting the way the county continues their good ol' boy approach... they blew up the fact that josh sons and zac greer were playing in the all-star game even though one of the 2 have not signed to play in college... neither one will make an impact on the next level.. i don't think they will ever play a college game... My research has discovered that Coach Mantooth could have taken Curtis Francis a black player but chose not to.. By the way Curtis is headed to TSU on a full football ride... A few years back Eric Taylor made the all-star team with no coverage in the local paper. Mr. Taylor now a senior to-be is a starter for the Memphis Tigers... So the question remains why do the black athletes get the backseat while the white players get all the press... Since they intergrated the schools in franklin county that has been the case.... You would think after 35 years they would get the message.. Apparently not... I feel sorry for all those black athletes who have worked hard over the years and are still outplaying and outworking their white counterparts only to take a backseat... Maybe what the blaxck athletes in Franklin County Must Do is not play at all and let the good ol' boys have it their way and that would be not to win a game... All you Red necks who want to respond get your fact straight before you reply because it could get uglier.....
  4. Looking over the top football prospects for the upcoming year it is sad to see a top notch player not listed... Franklin County's 2 sport athlete James Pryor.... The rising senior had a splendid season last year rushing for over 1500 yards and during one 4 game stint carried the ball an average of 40 plus times per outing... He can't get a mention ... That's hogwash... Maybe the folks in Franklin County feel Mr. Pryor think he's not a part of the good ol' boy network - you know that ol' southern network that takes care of their own.... Come on people here's a kid who is a model citizen, 3.9 grade point average, does everything ask of him, runs a 4.5 40, was an all-district player in basketball even though his stupid coach down played the honor at the banquet... Where's the problem? It's clear... the coaches most of whom are a part of that same ol' network are more concerned about "run james run" than they could ever be about Mr. Pryor the person....The only thing worst would be to continue to let the good ol boys use the players the way they are presently doing . Put James' name out there and watch the scouts come...
  5. Here's what we know....Franklin County's Curtis Francis who signed with TSU was omitted from the all-star team... That's crazy... Why.. Coacht check it out.... and where's the other message from yesterday
