MaryvilleRebels, are you gonna sit here and tell me that tyler gaskin has the size to play D-2? He is probably 6-2 170, and runs about a 4.80. Hodge has great work ethic, as well as mccord and rouse. All four of the players could go D-2. You have no idea as to what you are saying about anything.

The thing i like about chris mccord, is his shiftyness. That is something i am not sure i have seen in Jackson before. It just seems like when jackson breaks a long run, he doesnt do much but run through the whole and thats it. And like a couple people said, give mcord and gaskin 4.5 speed, they both go D1. I am not sure that cassen jackson is that fast. You can say what u want but i saw him get cought from behind by the flowers kid friday night and jackson had a head start. The thing about college is that they aer gonna make kids faster and stronger.

Which is a better back Jackson, Mccord?

I look for Maryville to just get better and better every week. I went to the scrimmage thinking this was gonna be nasty, but overall i was impressed on how Maryville played. You could tell it has been several months since any of them have played against someone. So I look for the next scrimage to be better. Go Rebs

The line is going to be just as good as past years. No one needs to say anything about the line unless you have been at the practices, and they look good right now. The line is gonna be even bigger. Right now the coaches are still trying to fan out some of the kids that are going both ways, but if thats what they gotta do to have sucess, thats what their gonna do. Chris Large is a monster. He is not at tall as Waters was, but he is definitly bigger. Even though Brandon Waters was a great center, i really belive Large can be as good or better. Jimmy Wallace has a couple games under his sleeve, becuase of Eubanks injury last year, and Jimmy did a great job! Now if you were to look at John Roulston with street clothes on, you wouldn't belive he played o- line, he just had great fundamentals and was physical. The o- line will be good for Maryville, it might take them a couple games, but when all is said and done Maryville will have a 4th ring. And when you got a coach like coach Ellis, you know the line is gonna be good. Go Rebs

I was wondering, who is gonna be the linebackers for the Rebels this year. I hear alot of different opinions alot and havent really heard anything from the coaches. From what i heard and have seen Larry Hannon looks to be a good LB, not very big but i heard he's tough as nails. I've heard good and bad things about Dee Arrington. Some people have told me he doesnt do much work in the weight room, heard he's cocky and doesnt really belive that anyone can take his spot. And thats where i come to Matt Valentine. I saw him the other day and i was just like WOW, he has gotten really big and looks really well.. If anyone that knows anything about maryville tell me what you think about the LB situation for Maryville. And lets get that 4th in a row. Thanks
