FBe, I really think it's pityful that you are on Alcoa's case after that little 2-A school won the state title. I don't understand what your problem is. Maryville will win 4-A again....what incessant need does it feel for you to rag on Alcoa?

"Don't take their players out"????????????? Alcoa yanked Warren, Lindsey, Sykes, Fiegler and Martin in the 3rd quarter against Fulton...and that game was on TV! You'd think they would have left them in to show out in that game if in any.

Murville did a good job of doubling Lee Smith all night and then bringing the pass rush. Cody threw into the double-team 3 times and all 3 got picked off. Powell needs to get the running game going early in this one, IMO.

Apparently things were being thrown at the Alcoa bench from the stands in the 3rd quarter. Alcoa's coaching staff also almost got into it with the coaching staff from Hopkinsville. Not pretty. Just get out of there and never go back.

37-6, Alcoa wins. Ran out the clock at about the Hopkinsville 5 to end the game. A very un-murvillianlike thing to do

It sounds like there has been a TON of home cooking in this one. Hopkinsville got 3 favorable spots on their TD drive. Warren got thrown out of the game and the guy that was fighting with him didn't. Shiverdecker has had a 50 yard and a 70 yard TD run called back for penalties away from the play. Just a second ago, things were thrown at the Alcoa bench from the stands. They just need to get out of there with the win and get home. The guys on the radio are raving about Shiverdecker and his quickness. It's 37-6 with about 10 minutes left to go. The final will probably be 44-13. Both teams will score one more time.

That's just a killer loss for Alcoa. They have no way to replace what he does for them on offense OR defense. They just lost their best player on both sides of the ball. It's 30-6 now. Alcoa is driving. It will be 37-6 in about 5 minutes. The 3rd quarter is almost over.

Kentucky's rules wouldn't matter. Alcoa is bound by TSSAA rules whenever they play a game no matter where it is. He was ejected from the game. If you are ejected, you are suspended for the next game. No exceptions.

Now 30-0 Alcoa leads. I can't believe they just lost Warren for the murville game...

Alcoa has 2 turnovers and a TON of penalties. They had a long TD run called back and fumbled an INT they were trying to run back at about midfield. Hopkinsville has 6 turnovers: 4 INT's thrown and 2 fumbles. Warren has 2 TD catches for Alcoa and a ton of tackles, along with a fumble forced.

I meant for it to be a new thread. Fiegler hit Warren again for another TD right before halftime. Alcoa 23 Hopkinsville 0 Alcoa has 4 INT's in the first half. They fumbled one INT on the return, had a 70 yard TD run called back, a 45 yard run by Shiverdecker called back and they've got a ton of penalties. It could be a lot worse.

Shiverdecker scored on about a 70 yard run but it got called back. Fiegler completed 3 straight passes, one to Lanxster for about 40, one to Sommers for about 20 and a TD to Warren. Alcoa isn't playing very well (a fumble with several penalties already) but they are probably on their way to a route.

Sure they do...so WHY be FAKE? You murville fans hate Alcoa with a passion...why do you all get on here and act like you don't? Answer: Because murville's beaten Alcoa 4 years in a row. Your hatred is masked at the moment, much like the hatred alabama fans had for UT for many years but that they could shield and claim "class" while doing so because their team was winning. After Alcoa wins next friday, we'll see the true colors of all of you people.
