  1. This was a very entertaining game. The Indians offense went from a passing team to a ball control running team in the second half and was able to control the clock. The Indian defense bent but didn't break...how many more cliches do you think I can add?...Dee Peeler, Walker Throp, Cedric Hodge, Steven Moten, Jason Sensabaugh, Dustin Gaines, Matt McMillian, Tyler Nottingham all had a good game...Peeler had some big sacks throughout the game...Throp had a big sack during the Bulldogs last possession and then an Interception to end the Bulldog threat. Bearden will be a factor all year in the Big East if they play to the level they showed tonight. Anderson ran well, #19 and #9 were very impressive on defense. Good luck the rest of the way to the Bulldogs. How 'bout them Indians!?! Congratulations D-B. Roll Tribe Hey Little Man Stewert definately played @ Mo. West - a four sport all-stater...West beat D-B in football Little Man's senior year, but we beat him in basketball and baseball. He was a classy player and a good high school interview. D-B is not dodging West or anyone, when Greeneville didn't want to play us anymore and MBA decided it was too expensive to continue that series, we looked long and hard for opponents, got Oak Ridge back and then Sullivan North, both are good attendance games, but aren't in any way a dodge of anyone. 2. Moten is going to be a very good player, he is a good player now, but he hasn't started all the srimmages for D-B, Darryl Hayes has started the majority of the scrimmages @ free safety. D-B has not started Moten at running back. They have not used McMillan and Throp (RB starters) the same way as Moten has been used, they have not run from the "I" with the starters, as they have been working predominantly on the passing game...getting Ferguson as many different game situations and formations as possible. The second unit has been operating with a more standard D-B offense, good mixture of run and pass, if you have noticed, McCord (2nd team QB) operates more under center than Ferguson has. Moten has a lot of learning to do, as to how to play the position of safety, he gets sucked in frequently on play action fakes and gets burned on passes over his head, but he is a very sure tackler who, if he works hard, can do a good job for the Indians. 3. you have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe consider talking to some db coaches before you say anything about individual players.
  4. does anyone have any information bout matt mcmillan from dobyns-bennett? i hear that he is as good as jacob, his brother, all state running back and linebacker. if you do know anything write me back.
  5. who is this guy? is he a junior or what? how good is he?
  6. I have heard through the grape vine that Dobyns-Bennett was having another great kicker this year out of senior Ben Coty. they always have good kickers.
  7. chad pennington, todd helton, steve spurrier are my top three.
  8. Coach George Quarles from maryville is a great coach he has to be my number 1 but then graham clark from dobyns-bennett is also an excellant coach on the offensive side of the ball.
  9. im gonna go with MBA but there sure are alot of sleepers out there
  10. hey dafuture4all i believe that the best QB in the state is up for grabs there are alot of great kids out there. but mostly it comes down to who produces during the season so its hard to predict. but i know the best DE is definatly cullen connerly for Dobyns-Bennett. everyone really needs to watch out for this guy. i have heard from the coaches he has really stepped up in practice and has a ton of potential.
  11. I would like to know and hear what everyone thinks about DB this year. They have lost some key players on the offensive side of the ball. Do you think this could be the year that the region is taken by someone else or is DB strong again. This could be the down year for them. Let me hear your thoughts.
  12. You know Sevier Co. definatly has a nice stadium, but there field does not compete with Dobyns-Bennett. DB's stadium is usually filled better also and the facilities are always nice. So Dobyns-Bennett is the best stadium in the east.
