the way i see it hickman co. is not that great of a team but i think they are looking at there schedule and they think that lawrence co. will be there easiest game.... little do they know who they are playing, scoreboards sometimes dont show people what happened in the game(like the hillwood game wit LC in which lawrence co. was only down 7-0 after 3 qtrs but a punt return and 2 turnovers made it look like a blowout, ) but i believe this friday lawrence co. will show people what happened in this game by having a shutout victory wit points piled on. if LC overcomes a few injuries and gets people 100% this team will be rollin, law.co is even hungrier and more fired up to win after the game wit hillwood. prediction- LC- 42 HC- 0

is it true this guy is just a sophomore or did i read wrong

i know one player in particular for hillwood, Rb Chris Brown all around great athlete. but lc has a fast defense this year and they dont give up many yards, also the o-line is workin good and the legs of rb brandon kolesar are really carryin this team, i expect whoever has the least amount of turnovers and whoever wins the ground game will win this one. ok rattler where u got that i dont know but spring hill has a good team, they have a big 6'4 reciever and a very fast running back so it isnt gonna be a walk in the park for the cats friday unless they come out really wantin to kick some tail. my prediction says law co. 28 spring hill 17

lawrence co. looked sharp friday, ive noticed that friday they didnt come in the game over confident, they took Loretto seriously, i believe the game against white co. even though it was a loss helped them not to be overconfident and i think since the white co. loss this team will take every team as if they are the best in the state. this team looks better every game and i believe as the year goes on they will get better, maybe even pull out an unexpected upset. but good job guys keep up the good work if u come into every game like u did friday then u have a very good shot at the postseason. good luck friday vs. spring hill make it 3-1

like LB1 said Kolesar had almost 200 yards on the ground friday nite and if u dont know i think GCHS averaged about 290-300 lbs on their d-line, so white co. will have to bring the force to stop him but dont forget once u stop him then u have to stop (QB) yokley,(FB)cozart,(WR) tice, (WR)clayton, (OT/DT) Gang, Thompson . as for depth wise this team has it (Rb)s mccall, chambers, (FB) adkins, (WR) Gowen, and for lineman there are too many to name. ive watched this team for 8 years now and this team with their new head coach David Marston, who has turned this program around, will be the team to watch. as for Lawrence co. they will focus on there opponent week by week not 2 weeks or 3 weeks in advance. bottom line is lawrence county will not over look ne team and they will have their eyes set on making another win this week against white co.. they will be truly be focused and ready to play friday nite lets go cats make it 2 wins in a row

we really havent heard ne thing from ne giles co. fans on this topic i wonder why???? i dont know too much bout giles co. just that: i know that giles co. has a good size line and some speed and with only a 33 man roster. ne giles co. fans want to input on the cowbell game? keep it up Lawrence co. fans ure gettin the fire started very well for this upcoming season and i know the boys that were those purple n gold jerseys would love to see a big lawrence county crowd in Giles co. friday nite so they can have the 12th man advantage. so lets go wildcats shut em down!

i was at the friday jamb. in columbia, Lawrence co. came out and really didnt play that well, on my oppinion, but they still beat a very talented Marshall co., when a team doesnt play well and still wins against a team like Marshall co. their is something good about that team. gchs had a very tough time on defense (on Columbia's first 2 plays they went 155 yards and 2 tds). But i think that Lawrence co. will have a very successful season, and they will start out by making a statement friday night @ GCHS. my prediction LCHS-34-cowbell GCHS-6

does ne one know when Lawrence co. scrimmages coffee co., im thinking its this week but does ne one know for sure?

i saw the scrimmage against lawrence co., their backfield looked decent but no big runs or ne thing i dont remember lewis co. even gettin past the law co. 35 yd line in that game but its hard to replace the talent they had last year at running back.

even though lewis co. has experienced players on the D-line and a talented QB it will be hard for lewis co. to be better than they were last year becuz its hard to replace a rb/lb like Eric mcKnight and OL/DL Bobby Clift and LCHSRB4u thats true i saw them play and they have gone down in size especially their O-Line

lewis co. has playoff potential once again, dont get me wrong lewis co. can run the ball, but if they could make their offense a little more complex by putting in more pass plays to confuse the defense instead of the opposing defense playing run every down they would then have a very good shot at goin all the way.

lchsrb4u, im from lawrence co. and i agree that LC should have a surprising season. Despite the season Lawrence co. had last year i know there was some talent in their underclassmen. will their be any players out of this years team that steps up and leads this team to some wins.

will there be any teams that come out and surprise people with a good season this year? any Predictions?
