Go to your teams thread and brag on them instead of bashing teams you are not playing yet. If I remember correctly neither Gordonsville or South Pittsburg won the gold ball last year.

final 38-14 Eagleville. Easy win, looking forward to upset at Moore County next week.

Not much talk. A blowout by Eagleville just like the last time they played. Eagleville played a much tougher schedule this year than Monterey. Seven play off teams and beat three of them. Beat Cascade and Forrest with ease. Both teams had winning records. Lost to Westmoreland, Collinwood and Moore County in very close ball games plus they had several injured players out during those games. Lost to a good Copper Basin team but had a lot of injured players. Eagleville will route Monterey and then upset Moore County in the 2nd round. Eagleville a much better team when healthy. Will lose to state champs Gordonsville in third round.

Eagleville by 2 touchdowns or more. They are not the same team they were earlier in the year for the first time they are healthy. Well balanced on offense they can run and throw. Earlier in the year they lost a close game to Moore Co. on a td in the last 35 seconds of the game. Should handle Monterey easily.

Eagleville finishing last in the district. That has not happen in a long time and it want happen this year. Seldom does Eagleville finish out of the top four.

Rose had 28 carries 170 yds according to the DNJ. Cascade had 2 fumbles and 2 interceptions. Eagleville had 1 turnover. Cascade was pretty much a one person team. Eagleville was balanced 125 yds rushing and 115 yds passing for 240. It was 28-0 early in the 3rd quarter.

Eagleville is finally getting healthy and they have the best QB in the region. The Eagles should have a balance offense now with the QB leading the way. He definitely can throw the ball around but look for the the running game to be be very good due to people coming back from injury. They completely shut down Forrest and I believe they will do the same thing to Cascade. The Eagles by 14.

Wrong it would be a 3 way tie with Eagleville if the Eagles beat Cascade. Eagleville should beat Cascade with most of their injured players returning. Eagleville had their way against Forrest so I really dont see them beating Moore County.

How did the CA, Eagleville scrimmage go last week. I know Eagleville is rebuilding and lost a lot of seniors.

Eagleville wins easily 11-2. Pitching dominates. Used 3 pitchers in 3 games. Sets up well for them tomorrow.

Eagleville has as much pitching depth as anyone left. They have only used 2 pitchers. I am unsure of Cascade.

I would replace CA with Cascade and Jackson Co. with South Pittsburg. I know everybody is picking FC and Riverside to win it all (might happen) but watch out for Eaglevile if they get past Mt. Pleasant. Pitching depth really matters in the state tournament. They are also battle tested. approximately 15 games against teams still in the H.S playoffs. Of course 6 games against Cascade, other teams they have played one or more times. FC, Huntington, Germantown, Ezell Harding, CPA, Springhill. I'm sure I left someone out. They have played a very tough schedule but I believe it will help them if they can get by a tough Mt. Plaesant team in the sectional.

You are playing at home if their are any calls to get they go to the home team. Pretty simple answer to your question why Tullahoma had 11 walks and Riverdale 2. Riverdale threw strikes and Tullahoma threw balls. If you think it was bad last night wait and see what you get in East TN.

He picked Eagleville to get beat by Cascade, Forrest, Columbia Academy and I believed he picked Huntland in a upset so we at Eagleville love it when he picks us to lose since he is such an expert in H.S.Football. We rate him up there with Murphy Fair. Should be a close ball game, way too much ball control and good coaching to lose by a big number. I just call them as i see them

It should be a close game. If we can continue to win the turnover game we will win. 21-14 Eagleville How is CA Kicking game, that could play a big part.

It does no good to argue to argue with Gordonsville fans. They have one state championship in their long history of High School football and they think should compare them to the true storied programs such as Trousdale County, South Pittsburg, Alcoa, Riverdale and others who have won numerous state titles. They have a high regard for themselves even though they are just a very good team that makes the playoffs every year and have advanced to higher rounds. In Rutherford County you are not a storied program until you have won numerous titles. Hopefully some day Eagleville will be considered one those storied programs. 10-0 is something to be proud of and hopefully we are concentrating on a very good Columbia Academy team. We are not good enough to be worrying about Gordonsville we need to take it one game at a time. Gordonsville will once again lose before they get to the State Championship and it very well could be South Pittsburg. The last time they won a championship was a long time ago, Im sure they know that date. I'm sure they will have a lot of comments about my post.

In my opinion the best offense we played was Forrest not Cascade. Forrest beat Cascade and definitely had the better offense and defense.

I know we haven't played anyone and our offense cannot score any points, we are just lucky to be 10-0. Just keep on picking us to lose, we love being the underdog.
