With only a few hours left before the kick off of the 53rd annual Cow Bell game I reflect on a few items. A cow bell is ringing and it is ringing in Giles Co. At the end of 4 quarters tonight the cow bell will be coming back to Lawrence Co The Lawrence Co Steel Curtain Defense will be the difference in the game. I hear Giles Co is young but so is LCHS my money is on the wildcats to pull off there first win of the year and also bring back the cow bell where it belongs.

The LCHS cheerleaders are the hardest working ladies in the state of Tennessee the Quarterback Club would like to thank them for there hard work and partership in helping us raise money for the many needs of our student atheletes. Board of Directors of the Lawrenceburg Quarterback Club

The comment about the Quarterback decides who plays on Friday nite is totally unjustified we do not have any parents on our board who has a player on the football team. I hope to educate you about the our awards banquet: 1. The Lawrenceburg Quarterback Club each year gives the highest football awards away to the top players in the state. 2. The money spent on the banquet is from donations from private individuals not from booster club money. 3. The Club puts back into the program at LCHS 3 times more money than we take in on membership. 4. The Lawrenceburg Quarterback Club is not a booster club it was formed to support football not only on a local level but on a state wide level. 5. The banquet does involve our high school team as we recognize a player off our team for the Kenneth Barnett Award of Courage and we also recognize all our Play of the week winners. 6. As of Friday we have 41 members in the club a little over 2000 dollars in booster club money. We put this right back into the program spending every dime on 20 new helments for the freshmen team. I invite anyone with these questions to come to our first meeting of the year on Tues Sept 2 at the Brass Latern at 7:00 pm and we can have a public forum to clear up all this misconceptions.
