Safe travels to SP and McK fans traveling to the game today. Pray for no injuries and that good sportsmanship is displayed from both fans and student athletes alike. Remember officials are only human and they have no bias toward either team they are giving their best just as our student athletes are giving their best. Student athletes remember most importantly have fun today and enjoy the experience no matter of the outcome.

Instant replay needs to be implemented at all state games.

About to head that way.  Save travels to all.  Of course I am picking the Rebels in a close one.  We went through a gauntlet the last 3 weeks to get back.  No one gave us a shot vs MC or Dresden.  Or maybe even Cornersville.  3 Mr. Football Finalist. Regardless of the outcome, our 7 seniors have a 49-7 record in their 4 years.  That is an incredible run.  Comer is looking for win 210.  As always, I will either tip my hat and say well done to our friends at SP.  Or, watch our guys raise that gold ball.  Go Rebels!  Go get it!

Safe travels. Nasty weather currently but should move out an hour before game time.

Regardless of how many articles you post or what you say SP will continue to put trophies in the case and will continue to get players and haters like you will keep on hating.

I've got my picks in the big ones.

Best game?  I'm gonna say the McCallie vs Baylor contest.

Being In Chattanooga, and both schools being within walking distance of Finley,  I think there will be something spectacular happen in this one.  I'm calling an instant classic for the Scenic City.

    63-62 McCallie.

    4 OTs.

ST you going to be at the game?

That guy is a dang retard. He knows nothing.. Some butt hurt fan after the Clay County game said something to me about #66 for SP… he wasn’t on the roster last year…

I did some checking and the kid only played one year of HS football… this year which is his senior year.  Started in preK here..

He has been here his whole career. Never imagined him playing a sport. That shows how young kids can develop as they go along.

Let’s compare rosters year over year.  Bet you anything there’s a lot of new faces and I ain’t talking about the Freshmen.

The way you speak doesn’t deserve a response, but oh well. SP and other schools get transfers every year. It’s apart of a winning program. People want to play for winners. I know these kids very well. So…since you asked… starters this year that attended South Pittsburg Elementary School: Kamden Wellington, Jace Stone, Logan Hargis, Jamarion Farrior, Cash Kelly, Alex Phillips, J.R. Hardrick, Ranye Tipton, Cameron Grider, Braden Allison, Davon Arnold, and Omar Slatton.

Ones that attended since the Academy that start: Kadyn Pace, and Logan Sisk.

To my knowledge that leaves about 3 kids off who start.

If they watched film on MTCS or OS McKenzie will set up the PA post a couple times. They hit it once against Moore Co for a big chunk.

Safeties have to keep it all in front of them. Got caught watching bubble against OS and watching backfield against MTCS.

They will be prepared. Almost showtime.

My 2 cents. McKenzie can throw the Ball but I don’t believe they have seen total Team speed like South Pittsburg has! Especially that Defense! Hard to throw when 2 or 3 players in you face!   Whichever Team scores 21 wins.
     South Pittsburg 35

    Mckenzie 10

The secondary can hold their own one on one. The biggest thing with the defense is most of the time applying all pressure with just the front 4. Opens up a lot when you can do that.
