  1. Well, Cleveland, you know why I've been quiet. I told you why & you "calling me out" ain't gonna make me start talking junk until I feel the need! But just for the record . . . . . . . GO FALCONS!
  2. You had to know that was coming!
  3. Turtle, are you sure AE wants to play on Thursday? Your excuse the last couple of years for Scott playing AE so close is because the games were on Thursday & not Friday. Is AE really going to be ready to play on Thursday?! . . . . . . just wondering
  4. I was at the game & know the players on the team. The starters didn't play the whole game. Never-the-less #44 for Scott is a very fast RB.
  5. Not to take anything away from Scott because those guys played their hearts out. BUT, Scott scored 6 points in the first half. The rest of their points were scored when Fulton had their 2nd & 3rd string in.
  6. AE wins this one, if for no other reason 'cause AC won't have their "home-cooked" refs there! :justwrestle: Seriously, though AE will win in a pretty close game.
  7. Tyner was VERY CLASSY. Great hosts. Even after such a tough loss, several of the Tyner coaches, players, & fans hung out with the Fulton players & coaches & talked while the Fulton players were eating before boarding the bus to go home. Good luck the rest of your season! GO FALCONS!
  8. Until last week I would say Fulton is a run team. Of course, last year they did whatever they had to - they were very capable of both. In the playoff game against Smith Co. the running game wasn't exactly going our way, so we went to the air. In the championship game - I think all of our td's were from passes. We haven't really established that type of attack this year yet. We have two very young qb's, but as tyner99 mentioned we did go to the air last week some with our freshman qb. I think he surprised a lot of people. I look for him to improve each week as he gets more experience in varsity games. I haven't heard if they are making the trip. My guess would be yes.
  9. The Fulton fans didn't say anything before the game this week - we let the players show you what they had on the field! GO FALCONS!
  10. Turtle don't play! He's just a big Roadrunner fan!

    Nicest field

A couple of Fulton alumni freehand the Falcon midfield & the FHS in the endzones. The coaches fill in the Falcon & the FHS & paint the rest of the field. They spend countless hours working on it. I think it looks great, too.
  12. In the past, Fulton has been able to rely on their special teams. This year they haven't proved themselves yet. Hopefully they will tonight! GO FALCONS!
  13. We'll see how "real" you are come playoff time. I'm looking forward to the games w/ boyd, catholic and livingston. We don't play mccallie, but anyway. . . . .
  14. Hey moron - did you notice the date I typed this?! It was days ago you idiot. Fulton started out slow last year & look where they ended up?! STATE CHAMPS while you sat home & maybe watched it on TV. Fulton's not gonna lay down & die - I'll tell you that right now! GO FALCONS!
  15. You're exactly right, Pigskin. Fulton has hopefully got their eyes opened & are ready to play some ball. By the way, I watched the Central/Halls game on TV yesterday. Undoubtedly, Gaston is a great athlete, but I have to admit, I was REALLY impressed with AJ Nance. He is a stud! That TD catch he had in the 1st half was amazing! What schools are looking at him?!
  16. My speech wasn't for you. If you don't like it - don't read it. All kinds of people have said Fulton is weak this year; they're not as good, etc. etc. I've heard it myself. You repeated what I said about the AC coaches making the right adjustments & going with what was working. Throwing to #88 was the answer - I said my hats off to him. I am a huge Elliott Bishop fan, but he was not the only reason we went to State or win it all. Elliott was a huge factor in the Smith County game, but he didn't do a whole lot in the championship game. Jam Fine was our hero in that game. As far as the refs. Like I said, you can say what you want & I agree with your comment on not capitalizing on scoring opportunities the first half. We definitely should have. but the bad calls by the refs were disheartening to our guys - I don't care what you say. Our guys may have said those things going into the locker room - I wasn't right there so I didn't hear it. If they did I hope they have learned their lesson not to take other teams for granted. Never the less . . . . . . . GO FALCONS!
  17. No - I don't need anything from you & if I did I wouldn't take it! If you don't like what I have to say - don't read it - it's that simple, moron! We'll see who is sitting at home again this & who is in the playoffs again! And that's . . . ."keeping it real" By the way . . . . . .that's not my line - that belongs to AEROADRUNNER if you'll remember.
  18. AC didn't smack anybody! I give you all the credit in the world. Your coaches figured out what worked & you stayed with that & it paid off in the end. Hats off to you. I mentioned this in another post. AC's running game did not impress me. You had a couple of good runs the WHOLE game. Fulton came out first possesion & scored. How many times did AC punt or kick off to our returners? If you thought you could handle us so well why did all but maybe one or two kicks (punts & kickoffs) go out of bounds or do the little short kick? Looks to me like you were afraid of what Boo-B & De-Bo would do with it. I normally don't like to do this, but I always seem to have to when Fulton plays AC at AC. The refs stunk. You can get back on here & say your side of the story & say I'm making excuses or whatever you want, I don't care. But the game was so one-sided. There were a number of pass interference calls that they didn't call on AC. The taunting penalty they called on Fulton was BULL! He dove in the end zone with people right behind him. They had already thrown another flag down the field for holding. I'll tell you what - you watch your game film before you make any comments about what I'm saying. I don't mean just watch it - watch it REALLY close. If you can live with lying to yourself & eveybody else by saying that the refs didn't blow a lot of calls against Fulton - you get on here & call me whatever you want. You're the one that has to live with the lies & live with yourself. I can honestly get on here with a clear conscience & say what I'm saying. Don't get me wrong - I am in no way saying the refs won the game for AC. AC won - CONGRATULATIONS! But you have to admit . . . .when you're playing a game & the refs call a game so bad against your team . . . it tends to take the wind out of your sail. You get frustrated, you get mad & there's nothing you can do about it. So to say Fulton didn't play with as much heart toward the end of the game - you're probably right. Fulton has got a lot of talent. They've got a lot of young talented players. We started out 0-2 last year & look how we ended up. So don't you dare think that our guys are just going to lay down & die. If you do that - you'll be sorry! Now my message to the Falcons . . . . . . . People think you're a joke! They're saying you don't play with heart. They say you don't have the talent to win this year. They say you're weak. I say this all the time . . . "There's nothing I like more than when my Falcons prove people wrong!" Show 'em what playing with heart is. Show 'em what our line can do. Show 'em what JWag can do. Show 'em Pitch & JMike ain't no joke. Let Boo-B (d. rogan) & De-Bo (Freeney) & T. Train (Tyrone) run that ball down their throats! A. Ham, I made all kinds of "X" signs for you. The fans are ready to hold those up when you knock 'em for a loss. Your #1 fan didn't battle back from lung cancer right after the championship game last year & fight with everything I had in time for football season to watch you lose & listen to people talk about you like this. I got all the faith in the world in the Falcons! You're a championship team - it's time to remind everybody of that! THAT'S WHAT'S UP! As always . . . . . . GO FALCONS!
  19. I think this game has the potential to be REALLY exciting! In Fulton QB's defense, I'm sure he takes responsibility for fumbling some of those snaps, but the center was also playing with a cast on his right hand & had to snap with his left hand. Jack made some very good plays, too. Fulton should've won. AC's running game didn't impress me. AC recognized late in the game that their tall receiver #88 was WAAAY taller than our db's & could catch over them. I'm not making excuses - good teams figure these things out & go with what works & it paid off for them in the end. Fulton needs to show everybody what's up. This is their first home game of the season - I hope they start it with a win! GO FALCONS!
  20. You can thank your coaches & your #88 because that's how you won the game. Your "power" sure didn't do anything! Fulton's mistakes & your tall receiver got that big win! But hey, congratulations.
  21. I hope you keep thinking that! We'll see what T. COBB, A.HAM & Co. have to say about that! GO FALCONS!
