  1. I think lately the coverage has been alot better, except the tellico incident, but they did apologize. The articles have been pretty good recently. Im looking forward to the article this week, approaching this rivalry. I saw the latham kid on the sideline at the harriman game, will he play this week, that will be a big key for sweetwater if they stay in this game, who is bigger him or felton?
  2. That is a tough schedule all of these teams are tough two are undefeated and 2 have just one loss. And swater was a very very close game
  3. TANK No problem, i just thought it would be a pretty good idea because this is a much anticipated game, hope you enjoyed. What are you doing for the photo shoot?
  4. Tank I was wondering if you could do a little preview like the knoxville paper does, where u compare each position: o-line, d-line, qb, rb, db, wr, lb)and tell who has the edge. MINE IS QB: Walker for sequoyah is still young and makes young mistakes, he has decent speed when he commits but also tends to be indecisive, his arm isnt very strong, tends to underthrow, but he can put it there occasionally. Moore for sweetwater is more athletic and can make amazing things happen, however doesnt have much of an arm, he also doesnt think as a qb, the offense does click at times with him under center, great speed and elusiveness, also older EDGE: Sweetwater OL: seqouyah line is made up of 5 seniors that are big and strong, they play with alot of intensity but seem to not hold there blocks or go down field and block, they block the line of scrimmage pretty well, but need to play with more leg drive, also have alot of heart. Sweetwater ol is also pretty big and block the line pretty well also, they are pretty slow however and have some week spots in the line, seem to let off after a few series(or get tired), do go down field occasionally EDGE: even RB: Sequoyah backs are very physical led by Felton, they run hard and get up field quickly, Felton is big and has very good speed for his size already has around 800 yds on the season, very difficult to tackle and can take it the distance, Anderson is also a good sized back that is very quick and powerful, can take it the distance on any play, plays with alot of emotion and can lower his shoulder or run around you, Carson is also another good sized back, runs downhill very good, he is fast and when he gets on the corner gets tough yards. Sweetwater is lead by Ferguson who is very quick and fast, can take it to the endzone from anywhere on the field, also runs harder than his size, is a little injury plagued, but runs to score every play, Blomstrom is a big kid who runs hard and bulls for yards, latham is a big back and is elusive for his size, but has been bothered by injury EDGE: Sequoyah WR: Sequoyah is lead by jones and miller, jones is tall, fast, and elusive, the kid is probably the most athletic on the field can get up and go, also can out jump about anyone, Miller is short and pretty fast, plays with tons of heart, has very good hands and does what it takes to get to the endzone. Sweetwater im not really sure about the names but dont get the ball much but ferguson comes out of the backfield and is dangerous. EDGE: Seqouyah DEFENSE: EDGE: SEQUOYAH
  5. This is going to be a fun game, on paper it looks like the chiefs will run away with it, but with the rivalry this is that probably wont happen. The chiefs are big, strong, and fast, and play with alot of intensity. The wildcats want to show that they are a competitor. Ill still pick sequoyah big 45-10
  6. Thats a good prediction tank talk, thats what they did all night,
  7. That was a great game chiefs. You put it all on the field, and greenback also seemd to play with alot of heart. What happen to the quarterback from greenback, was that anderson who layed that hit on him, u could hear it in the stands i was suprised he got up. And way to go jerome, u ran with alot of heart, there werent many times it didnt take 3 or 4 people to bring u down. The line also blocked very well, the chiefs seem to have alot of heart and they earned alot of respect friday night, GO CHIEFS BEAT SWEETWATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Ive seen greenback play this year and the least impressive thing about them is their line. If they dont step up their line play the sequoyah running game will destroy them but if they put 9 in the box, tall jones or quick miller will hurt them. i was about right last week picking sequoyah 45-0 but look for 42-14 this week
  9. Sequoyah is starting to play together and when they do that they are one of the better teams in 3A, they lost to Grundy but if not for the refs and the early mistakes could of been alot different, as what it showed on paper, they will be a competitor in the play-offs. My pick in this one is sequoyah big 45-0 I know u shouldnt make a prediction like that but thats what i think
  10. RAM TOUGH Not only did sequoyah not get rolled over by 3 td's but they shut a loudon team out that played with anderson county and sequoyah rolled over loudon by 5 td's. So dont come on here talking stuff about these kids.
  11. sweetwater is 1-2 and alcoa is losing to but they have a young team, how will this be one of the best games of the week
  12. GOOD GAME CHIEFS, You guys played great, i wish you guys would of gotten last weeks game but thats ok keep moving forward and getting better game by game. You drilled a team that hung with anderson county, when u guys play as a team it will be hard to get beat. I was impressed with the line, they blocked their hearts out and it helps when ur running back can make his own holes, it looked like the chiefs layed off in the 4th quarter, that showed they do have alot of class. Feltone had 175 yards and didnt touch the ball the last 10 minutes of the game. Anderson had a great game on defense he was all over the field along with #32, isnt that the 3rd shut-out. Keep playing hard!!!! GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!! Walker stepped up and played a 100% better game.
  13. Wing t Rb's cassen jackson, corey booker fb jerome felton qb Cook south pitt\ wr lamon williams te k.t. mainord ol jeremy bentley, not sure who else
  14. I think Feltone out of sequoyah is the best fullback in AAA, he has great power and to be so big can spring a long touchdown on you. Will have around 1300-1600 yards this year
  15. TANK, Could you give a preview of this week's game? What do you thinkn the score will be and who do you think will have to show out for the chiefs?
