look out for Frankie Morgan of Union County next year, he is only a sophomore and wrestled his way to the semifinals, when he wasn't even expected to place, he will be a top contender to get Union County its second state championship in as many years.

Jeremy is a great wrestler, but more importantly he is a great individual, I wrestled in the same region as jeremy during my career and we developed somewhat of a friendship, he is a great guy and deserved every bit of what he received. Great job jeremy and good luck in the future

my vote leads toward Rutledge. Lately Rutledge has been playing to the top of their game and based on the way the two teams played in the semi finals last i think Rutledge will pull ahead of the tigers

Don't take anything away from Abercrombie he is a really good wrestler.

Coach Moorman and Coach Pireria have done a great job with this program at Union County. It is only four years old and there list of accomplishments is pretty big. Including sending 2 to the state this year. 1 State Finalist 6 Different State Qualifiers 3 Different Region Champs 1 100 match winner and with only 7 guys on the roster at the end of the season, imagine what they could do with a full team. Both of you, thanks for all of the hard work that you have done and the leadership you have shown. Hopefully with their guidence they can mold this program into one of the best in the state.

I agree with jmpknoxvillewrestler215, when you have a russian or an underhook for that matter, you have to use it you just can hold it and walk around that is stalling, I was at the match and I agree that both were stalling, but at the time when the final point was awarded to bailey, hazlett was being offensive and after that bailey just grabbed a russian and walked around with it as if to make him look like he was being offensive. And as for the fans, they obviously were booing the refs, but for bailey he needs to show some class and win graciously, I know he should celebrate, but you don't celebrate by taunting the crowd, that just show that bailey has no class. If he had any class at all he would not have agged it on. But what is done is done and you can't change the past. I will go ahead and predict now that Hazlett will win the state title next year.

Voleagle is not from union county, thats for sure he is a disgrace to the sport and we would not allow him on our team. Good luck to everyone at state.

Even if Henderson does get the #1 seed then I will take a quote from coach V at Halls " The cream will always rise to the top" Just cause Henderson is seeded there don't mean he will finish there.

Campbell and Henderson have wrestled twice with campbell winning the first match 14-4 and loseing the second. Campbell beat Cole Geren 5-0 at Bradley but I'm sure that a Campbell- Geren rematch in region finals is more likely than a Campbel-Henderson. I don't think that Henderson could beat Campbell again. So, I'm still picking campbell to win region

I think you might be counting your chickens before they are hatched, Henderson might not get the #1 seed after all, they have split matchs this year and Campbell did win the Halls Invitational while Henderson finished 3rd. Campbell has also placed at some really hard tournaments(4th at Bradley, 5th at Woodford County) I'm not sure what henderson placed but I think campbell has the edge on that. Also I do believe he won his other match last by tech fall, against alcoa taking him down and letting him up at least 4 times. I wasn't at the match last night and so I'm not sure if he took him down 4 times. And as for Campbell's match last night, its what you do in Febuary that matters not January.

what time does the tournament start and where will it be at. There could be a good match between knox and daley of gibbs. Also I think that Geren of South Doyle will win the 119 final.
