It was suppose to be tonight--Monday! But with school out IDK! I will try to let you know if I hear something! Schools closed early on Friday in Collinwood---but they came on anyway until it was reported that Collinwood was getting bad, so the boys game was postponed until Monday! Zion is closed as well! I was looking forward to that game tonight!! And Santa Fe tomorrow! I hope atleast that one gets played!!

I thought if you were from "Hog-eye" country you would atleast use the "informal" definition from The American Heritage version-----which defines it as spirit! (this being embarraced not love!!!!!) Which is exactly what I was talking about! I guess I better "watch my language" or say what I mean and mean what I say! Which part of Hog-eye are you from??? I haven't heard that in a looooong time!! My Daddy was born and raised in Hog-eye country in 1929, until he left for the Navy! Came back to TN Tech for a college degree and still told my Mom that he "Shure" did love her! That was after his degree. I thought it was because he was from "hog-eye country"! Just kiddin' I "shure" do LOVE and MISS my Daddy-a "Christian Gentleman" aka--a "good ole humble country boy" who "never" forgot where he came from---HOG-EYE!! "Sorry" to go on about this but I haven't heard that term in a long time!! You brought back some "fond" memories of my childhood visiting there! Do you know where "booger swamp" is??? If you do, then I know you are a real "HOG-EYE" country-boy ! (just imagine that being a "hog" dancing!! LOL) Anyway....the title should be CHEERLEADERS WITH SPIRIT! I guess I need to "edit" that for ya'll (or just one) in Hog-eye!

I think this should be another post! I was asking about the positive cheerleading squads! Certainly not fights or good disputes!

TOPIC TITLE CHANGED FOR CLARITY!!!!! Just wanted to know what Cheerleading squad can get their fans the "most" fired up??? I have been to games where it seems the "cheerleaders" leading the "fans" in support of their "teams" can make a big difference and "what" are they doing "different"???

The Collinwood vs Zion "boys" varsity game was cancelled due to snow after the "girls" game was played Collinwood 82-Zion 60! The cancellations were the topic.

ZION CHRISTIAN ACADEMY VS COLLINWOOD "boys" varsity has been postponed due to snow! I do not know the date when the game has been rescheduled for!

Thanks "bigcenter" for confirming the Cass scouts. I guess I'm not crazy after all...atleast about what I thought I had heard. Last night the whole team played with heart and they were the better team. "If" they all continue to play like last night along with Hendrickson at 100%....they could surprise a bunch of folks----in my humble opinion! I didn't hear about the triple double until I read the paper tonight! Man, that's bragging rights for any player on any team. Front page news! Atleast in my book! And thanks "greenwheel" for the new standings! Good info!

ok ok ok...I thought my post showed ....." "..... I was not convinced as well. Maybe too much excitement after the game made me crazy ....it was an awesome game. I guess it was taken as a "fact" and not "I heard"; sorry I implied that! Have to watch my mouth or would it be fingers...on here LOL! I like Cass, and I have seen his game improve this season and he does have to play with heart and intinsity the whole game...he and the team had a good night.

From one fan to another..... Nathan Cass had Zion fans on their feet when he dunked it! This was in the last 2 min. of the game I believe. "Intense" during a game like this! I heard scouts were there watching Nathan. :justwrestle: Anyway..... Kyle Hendrickson only scored 2 tonight so we know he isn't 100% I hope he will be 100% before the end of the season! He wants to! I think that is the first time in school history---that Zion beat Perry County. :justwrestle: There was never a dull moment in this game! You should have been there! They played as a team tonight.....and it showed! A great effort by both teams!! Let me know if you need anymore info.! You could be right after all!

I knew something had to be different..even if CA had a key player out! One player doesn't make a team, but one player can have an effect on any team. I know they are proud! I will also say this...you can have all your players and still loose, we see this every game. LOL Thanks for the info though!

Sleep disorders keep me up this late sometimes; but I didn't think (LOL )you would have anything to say about "your warriors going to state" or would you?? I know you are proud; and being from this area can make us all proud when it's all said and done! Even though I cheer for another rival...I still have my loyalty to these teams!! I thought you already signed off?? Guess you'll be late for class??? LOL

Are you talking about the new gym or when they "had" to play (or actually the man that owned it allowed them to rent it I believe) in the old Sring Hill gym because they didn't have one! They had a tournament I went to and had bleachers on the end and extras on the stage! Yes small, but come on I think Sante Fe, Summertown, and CA are about the same or smaller! This is not intended to be negative just an observation.... from someone who has been to all of them on a regular basis for several years! (I believe it was a Zion Christmas tournament too!)

Ya know, I don't even know this player, but I believe this post was intended to praise and congratulate him on 1000 points which is a great accomplishment no matter what!! Congratulations from someone who does not know Jared but can still respect what he has accomplished! Great Job!

I had to go back and check the scores from their previous game too? It's just hard to believe with such a big point spread last game! But hey, that's why "we" love this region! (Sorry, wish I knew how to add 2 posts together...I'm learning! LOL)

If I stayed up I might be able to catch up on a few posts just like you culleokarep!

...im impressed by this win...shows that this region tournament will be a rollercoaster It feels like its been a rollercoaster all season!! Come tournament time there is no telling.....at this point! I love Middle Tennessee and especially this region....you can never tell??? Just like tonight!! It's always something!! (does that make sense???)

If Santa Fe "didn't" win this game I think it will be an upset..... uh....like the Summertown CA game tonight!

I guess I wait for big upsets or shocks before it gets me going! I can't wait for tournament time in Middle Tennessee. Is that still at MTSU?

Well we know it doesn't have to do with the size of the gym...they are about the same size! Maybe homefield advantage.
