  1. Let me just say I agree w/ Ou812. He knows what he's talking about. My predictions is the same as his/her's. Huntland- good coach, good players, and a bench. Cascade- good players, and SOOOO much HEART (which is most important). Forrest- good coach, Knight is back, but who else do they have? Conersville- good coach, players w/ potential, will suprise a lot of people. MC- Fallon and Fletcher are back, but I heard Sessions retired....and I heard they (now) don't have good wing-play. Richland- Hewitt is back. Community- My girl Courtney is back, but I hear there is a lot of jealousy her team mates have w/ her. Oh well Courtney, don't let them bring you down your senior yr. Culleoka- Good coach...is Anna back? Eagleville- If I was Karper and I new the program wasn't going to be like it used to or better...I'd leave. That girl has a chance, and sometimes you need to think about yourself and your future, rather than worry how others will judge you. Good luck in whatever you decide girl. Any idea what school she would transffer to? If this team doesn't have her then I choose them to be my last place seed, but who knows. Good luck to all the teams in 11A for 2004 and I hope we all represent in the region just like this past year.
  2. I think it'll be pretty much neck and neck with Huntland and Cascade. It should be a great rematch since both teams are returning 4 starters. I also think both teams have about the same talent. My sleeper is Cornersville. This is only my opinion. Good Luck to all of 'em.
  3. Does anyone know what happened to Morgan Brooks from Eagleville? I noticed she hasn't been playing. Did she get hurt or quit or what? I thought she was one of the best defensive players in 11A. So what happened?
  4. Forrest lost to Cascade tonight 59-50. Good Luck Lady Champs and good job!!!
  5. Cascade won by about 10 or 15 points and had a lead the entire game. Huntland, ya'll played a good game with a lot of effort. Good luck to Cascade Wednesday and Thursday!!!
  6. I agree Cascade shouldn't be overlooked. It will be an interesting game, if Cascade plays to their potential. No disrespect towards Huntland, but I just have a feeling that Cascade is going to suprise a lot of people and pull this one out. I hope they do. Good luck to both of them!!!
  7. I know this happened a while back, but seein' no one took up for Bunn, I have to put my 2 cents in. Have you seen Laura Bunn? I promise, if she had meant to hit Brittany, it would've taken a lot more than 12 stitches to fix her. Bunn would never do that on purpose. I saw it. She pulled a rebound, and she made her pivot like she always does. Brittany came up behind her to attack the rebound (What she was supposed to do). Bunn was sorry that it hurt Rigsby so bad, but accidents are gonna happen.
  8. What are everyone's predictions on the Cascade, Eagleville game Friday night? Keep in mind, Cascade's Laura Cowley is back and more than ready to play. I think it'll be a good one to watch, but if I had to pick I'd say Cascade by 10 or 15. But who knows. Merry Christmas, Good luck, and may every player stay injury free.
  9. My predictions for right now... 1. MC 2. Huntland 3. Cascade 4. Forrest 5. Eagleville 6. Unionville 7. Conersville 8. Richland 9. Culleoka This, of coarse, could and probably will change by February. Good luck to all the teams and every player stay injury free!!!
  10. Busdriver...Ya'll lost. You all played your best and Cascade certainly did. You left it all on the court. Laura Bunn was destined to hit that shot and Walls did just about everything she could've done to try and stop her. The refs were excellent, don't get mad b/c your best player fouled out and your coach couldn't controll his temper. This is all over w/, just get over it and move on.
  11. Cowley is practicing now and will be back w/ her team probably for the Eagleville game on Dec. 20. Good luck to her and all the other teams!!!
  12. Inglewood, I've read many of your posts, especially last year's and all I ever come out of your's was excusses when Forrest lost like the time you said Cascade didn't have regulation sized rims?!? Well, if that was the case for ya'll maybe you should get in the gym. We'll see you at Cascade.
  13. Here is the truth about Cowley. While playing against Friendship Christian @ Shelbyville, she fractured it. That next day, her and her family were at home when a tornado hit her house. They took shelter in a closet under their staircase. They were extremely lucky to be alive. She will be back in 2 weeks ready to go. She still is practicing so expect her to still be in shape. If you happen to see her tell her how sorry you are about her house b/c she could use all the encouraging she could get now. Thank you.
  14. What is it w/ you MC people? If I were you I'd be too ashamed to go on this message board and write how bad Cascade got their "butts whopped." You people are halarious if you think they did such a great job. Do you realize to score was 50-40 and do you realize Cascade has 6 players. It's pretty sorry when a team w/ a full bench can't even beat a team w/ 6 players by at least 20...on their own home court. I watched the entire game and MC did not show me anything like they have in the past. Just by observing the way they played at Unionville and against Cascade...they are definately beatable. It should be some game to watch when Cowley is back for Cascade. Good Luck!!!
  15. This will be a good game, b/c EHS and Huntland are high in the district, but I think Huntland will pull it out by 10. But then again who knows, Good Luck.
  16. Cascade beat Mt. Pleasant Friday.
  17. I agree MCbob, No one has beat MC and untill they do, they will remain top on my list. As for Cascade, at the Shelbyville camp, they came back and beat Overton by 4 and beat Hampshire by 23. I watched a little of their game and they looked like they were having fun and playing as a team at the same time. They looked good. Eagleville should do good this year, just like Huntland and Cascade. Those will be the top 4 teams. Forrest will be tough and Huntland certainly will be. Unionville had to big of a loss of seniors last year to do anything for a while (maybe). I've also heard Richland will be a sleeper team. Heck, who knows about 11-A, it could be anybody. It all comes down to who wants it more. Good luck to the teams and the coaches and may everyone stay healthy and injury free!!!
  18. Inglewood, If you think M.C. has no one, you're crazy. Did you forget about 2 time MVP, Abby? I know she's not everything and can be stopped, but she is good. And Forrest beat Cascade once, not twice. Does it really matter if your team graduates anyone or not? No, it doesn't. My opinion stands strong and I'm very confidant. I agree talk is cheap, and we'll have to see who wants it more on the court. See you there! Good luck to all the teams.
  19. What are everyone's opinions on all the girls teams this year. I personally think Cascade will suprise a lot of people this year. Moore County will be tough, so will Eagleville. Huntland will suprise people too. My rankings are... 1-4 will be between Huntland, Cascade, Moore County, and Eagleville 5-9 will be Chaple Hill, Culleoka, Unionville, Richland, Cornersville What are everyone else's opinions?
  20. I haven't heard much about Richland lately. Does anyone know how they did during the summer? How is Haley Hewitt's knee doing?
  21. I think a lot of people over look Cascade. They've had troubles in the past couple of years (especially @ districts), but I can already tell, it's going to be a lot different now. The girls are working, hard, every single day. They can't wait till the first day of practice, and they all are showing a great deal of heart, and the season hasn't even started yet. With 4 returning starters from last season I see the outlook as very bright, but it all comes down to who gives it all on the court and who knows what can happen. Here are my predictions.... Top 4 between M.C., Huntland, Cascade, and Chaple Hill Eagleville will be right up there w/ them. Good luck to all the teams and may every player stay injury free!!!
