TC got a few lucky breaks at P-town. Unfortunately, after all the stats the scoreboard is the only one that counts. Portland is still the best. Smith Co. will beat TC in game 6, then Potland will beat SC on Halloween night causing a three-way tie for the top spot in Region 4-3A. And, oh yeah, the train whistle will be there. Coin toss at the end of the season for first? We will see.......

The horn will always be there. TC thought they could get rid of it, but we had another one, . Remember, State Runner-up 1994, Semi-finals 1995, State Runner-up 1999, State Champs (15-0) 2000 with a convincing 43-0 win over Covington. The horn was there then, and it will be there when we return to the State Championship. Maybe not this season, but we will return.

Portland should have beat TC , but that's in the past. TC will beat LA by at least two TD's. TC better start getting ready for Smith County. Could be a battle of unbeatens in region play.

What about the train whistle in Portland? Anyone here ever heard it?
