Well just remeber one thing...only two teams have ever won this region, and that would be Gordonsville and TC, and I KNOW that Gordonsville will want to keep it that way. And swanson, dont bring FC into the convo. that is 2 weeks away and we are jusr currently thinking about Monterey.

Gordonsville may be down but we have a very strong tradition, and it is up to these seniors to uphold that tradition. We are not gonna just rool over and die because Monterey is 5-1, and rockingchair thanks for the comment, im sure the guys at Gordonsville appreciate that.

Well Gordonsville is way down, Monterey is supposedly imporved this year, but we just found out what happens when they play a decnt team. I sure hope Gordonsville can win, Monterey beat us my freshman year, so it can be done. Im pulling for Gordonsville in this one.

i wonder what all of ya'lls teams are?? do they have the history of South Pitt. SP has one bad season and everyone is bashing them. So this is a rebuilding year, they WILL be in the mix in a few season, I highly doubt Whitwell, CP or LV will beat them.

I don't like either candidates, just voting for the lesser of two evils. I wish Ross Perot were running, he'd get my vote in a heartbeat. FDR gets my vote for the best president we have ever had. South Pitt will be back in the mix after a couple of years. They have a great coach in Vic Grider and we here at Gordonsville respect them alot. They are tough and will get through this.

Studdering and stumbling over words, didn't follow the rules of the debate, speaking out of turn, I know what debate I watched and I watched John Kerry, however, I do think "W" will win, although he will NOT get my vote. "W" only went over to Iraq to get the oil they have. I fully support our troops, and I know all of America does. I do not support the reason we are over there however. Monterey will still finish fourth in the region, they will finish the season at 7-3, and lose to Boyd in the first round. Region 4 will gain some more competition next year when Trousdale County rejoins with us.

yes sir twan, i have been having a bad bad year, Gordonsville is down, which every team has down years, even the "OH GREAT CARTHAGE" has had them, but vandy has been down since 1982...we "should" be 2-1 right now, but we cant finish a game, any ways, to the guy who said that a pulling guard earholing a defensive end is girly?? son what are you smoking. Twan knows exactly what I am saying, the wing-t is basically saying we are gonna try to distract you with all of the mation crap, and then try to run around you as fast as we can. At least with the I or even split backs, you know they are going to run it down your throat, that is a real offense.

seriously, Macon Co. as been to the play-offs, count 'em once in their tenure. Everyone on here knows i am from the south side of the river, but MC has to win a few more years before they can walk and talk with Carthage. Carthage is a good team, and will be in the hunt for the region. MC on the other hand will not!! I would be worrying about Upperman if I were MC, b/c they are a pretty good team.

why do AP polls not look at strength of schedule? they have monterey at number 3 b/c they are 5-0, Monterey will lose this one and lose big, then they play Gordonsville next week which they may be down, they are always tough, Anyways, Monterey will be 5-1 after friday.

USJ hasnt been good for a couple of years, most of the good teams are located in middle and eastern TN, Boyd will win state again this year.

I will take Carthage in this one, they will go 9-0, until week 10, and they will lose to Portland, but this game will be close, and Carthage hasnt played to their ability all year, so if they dont, then Hartsville could turn it up and get a win, but I think Carthage will be ready for this one.
