I think when talking of coaches there is quite the difference in Cotton and Smith, yes they are both coaches and have a tendency to win, BUT (isn't there always a but?) Where the difference comes in is that: (from the Jack Daniels RUNNING FORMULA) "a great coach is the result of a coach and a great athlete getting along well". Smith has this Cotton does not!!!! So I think Smith desreves this award!!!

Well here is ANOTHER loss for the Bearettes which shows me that they really cannot carry their own without Buckalew.

I heard that on a radio broadcast... in my opinion going to Stanford is something most kids can only dream about, why in the world would he choose BELMONT over Stanford, nothing against Belmont, but come on.... That has got to be the craziest thing I have ever heard. He must really love to play basketball, I think right now I would focus more on my education than basketball, because he will get a much better job with a degree from Stanford than he will from Belmont.

oh my , another person telling how they feel about Harlow!!! Expect this board to be locked or deleted in a short while because any time a topic gets started about him it ALWAYS disappears. My suggestion is if you don't like Harlow put it in the Bradley Weekly it won't get deleted or locked there..LOL

Cry me a RIVER!!!! Every time Bradley loses a game they blame everyone but themselves for the loss. So what if they were booing Tiff, did she think she would get anything otherwise after a huge transfer like that. Kids will be kids and some have no manners but the fact still remains BRADLEY LOST!!! I agree with Peacemaker , Tiffany Palmer is going to be one to watch out for in the future, she ran a 19:56 this year and last year, she seems to be stuck on that time but at least she is consistent. Pickel is a great runner when she wants to be she has so many other things going on with other sports . But I would not go as far as calling her the "Best girl runner in East TN"!!! (BCHSSimpleman).... Also Peacemaker don't make any guarantees on anymore 53rd place finishes all you know she could go out and bomb again next year ...WHO KNOWS!!!

You people kill me!!! You are all on here trying to give Bradley this big pity party,,boo hoo!!! What you don't seem to get is that you are bashing the heck out of McMinn for getting on this board and voicing his opinion about Larry Cotton and the whole pacing issue. Now what you need to understand is that I guarantee you that more people read the Times than they do this board so if Cotton wants to voice his opinion about McMinn supposedly pacing all across Chattanooga then why can't McMinn voice his opinion on this little board that mostly teenagers read anyways!!! Oh and McMinn will take Bradley in the region...Get over it!!!!

What is your definition of a good coach and a bad coach??? In a good runner, times and hard work will tell you if they are good or not..what tells you if a coach is good or bad???
