Word this week from a prominent OR business person, with strong donor ties to ORHS, has OR making a decision, one way or another, on its head football coach. Thanks Kat, it does seem a little far fetched. But if you would have told me Booster Club members were fighting in the bathroom, that would be out there with it. Everyone too may be on the hush hush about this to respect Stephens until its made public. It also may be like someone else told me last night, that he is wanted gone by so many, that people are just starting to make these things up as they go to speed up the process. Anyway, hope you know who this is.

News or rumor? Heard it from a player with starting lineup ties. During the week of the DB game, Coach Stephens pulled a knife on an OR player as they practiced inside out of the rain. A parent apparently brought it the attention of the principal on Friday before the trip to McMinn Co. Stephens will meet Monday with Dr. Bailey where he is expected to lose his job. Can anyone else confirm this? CatVoice? Tank? I know a member of the first family of Oak Ridge football has his inside sources and can shed some light on it.
