  1. Don't get me wrong, I sure don't think Gaddis should be fired and I don't think he should resign. He will remain a coaching legend for many years to come. We all have a right to disagree, but I will remain a loyal Wildcat fan for life!
  2. Joe Gaddis is a good coach, but he can't walk on water like a lot of people thought he could when Oak Ridge hired him back. He doesn't call offensive or defensive plays and you can't throw the ball to Tee on every play, especially when he is double and triple teamed and your running this type of offense. In fact, on the last play of the game when Tee was double teamed another W.R. was was covered by a guy that was only 5'8 and if the ball was thrown to him it would've been a easy touchdown. But it's easy to be a Monday morning coach. With that being said, Oak Ridge had at least two chances to hire one of the best coaches in the state. Gary Rankin at Alcoa has applied for the Oak Ridge job at least twice and that's not hear-say, that is a fact. Once when they hired S. S. and again when they hired Gaddis a second time. I will always be a Oak Ridge fan regardless if they win or loose or who their head coach is. But why in the world they didn't hire one of the best, if not the best football coaches in the state is something I will never understand. I'm hoping they can get some bigger guys on the offensive and defensive line get them in the weight room during the off season and get the program turned around. Go Wildcats!
  3. If your a Heritage fan it was a great game. Oak Ridge looked slow and out of shape. Like SS said, there isn't any way to sugar coat it. Traditionally we usually improve a lot from the first scrimmage to the second one. I hope that doesn't change because we need to improve.............a lot. My biggest concern is how out of shape Oak Ridge looked. Heritage was stronger and faster. Starting out with DB and Farragut is tough enough for a good team. You can't do a year's worth of weight room training and running track in one month. Does anyone know who and where our next scrimmage is?
  4. Did anyone else watch the news last night on WB20 at 10:00? They had a special on Oak Ridge's basketball team. The sports announcer called Oak Ridge the "Oak Ridge Owls" it was pretty funny. But he finally got the name right, it was still funny though. Three questions: When does Oak Ridge play again? Because Oak Ridge won the district 3 championship in the regular season does that guarantee us a spot in the regions? Is the regional tournament going to be played in Oak Ridge this year? Thanks and go Wildcats!
  5. If Oak Ridge wasn't playing Friday night I would come down and see this game. I have a lot of good memories about coming down to watch the Owls and Wildcats play. Their booster club had some great BarBQ. Good luck to both teams and I hope to see one of them soon.
  6. Just joking around,Your the one who said they were troiling. LOL I think the reason there not playing Darel more on offense is because he's needed on defense right now. Allison, Nickerson and their doomsday defense will be enough to go deep into playoffs. Go Wildcats!!!
  7. Don't dish it out if you can't take it. The Cleveland players don't need any bulletin board material and their fan base is already fired up I'm sure. That's why I made my last post. Cleveland has a great tradition and I think this will be a close ball game. This time of the year you can throw out the win-loss records. Cleveland will ready and so will Oak Ridge. Oak Ridge by 10, it could be closer.
  8. No, the only thing they make in Campbell Co. is meth. And a few red neck sore loosers, lol. About the Oak Ridge and Cleveland game, it should be close one. Cleveland has a great tradition like Oak Ridge has. Could be a defensive struggle if Oak Ridge doesn't start playing till the 2nd half. GO WILDCATS!!!
  9. Wow what a game congratulations to the 10-0 Wildcats! We came, we saw we kicked their ####! I agree about playing loud music over the intercom when the ball is in play. That should not be allowed by any team. Other than that it was a good game.
  10. #86 on the offensive line is out. That is the area where we have the least amount of depth. We also have a few other injuries and a few others that are not at 100%. But most of the teams in the state at the end of the regular season isn't 100%. Can any team go the whole season without a injury? No, so it really isn't anything unexpected. Do we have as many injuries as A.C.? That I don't know but it's now game time so this is my last post till after the game. GO WILDCATS!!!
  11. Oak Ridge has some injuries also. Two starters on the offense line are out. And big number 99 is still recovering from last Friday. We also have other key injuries that I won't mention. So now it's game time and all can say is: Moo Moo Moo GO WILDCATS!!!
  12. I think your right. Or maybe this is Blade's brother who lives in middle Tennessee. The best way to handle a troll is to ignore him.
  13. No one is predicting a blowout. And the only one that is arrogant is you, troll. By the way coach Blade has some serious mental problems, just ask the coaches who have worked under him........If you can find them. LOL Back to the game, I think it will be a close one. Oak Ridge 31 AC 21 Mooo Mooo eat mo chicken Ranger (who has never been in the army)
