  1. What in the world does "toilet bowl" mean. I am just too nieve to understand that one. My fault on the game location, whiteshoes. An honest mistake. But that information makes your prediction even more proposterius. You honestly believe you can drive two hours west into Collinwood, TN, play in one of the best home feild advantage-fields you can play on, and beat team who hasn't lost there in at least 1 year, maybe more. They have some of the best skill people you will find in 1-A, and the mighty Baby-Blue defense is going to hold them to 21 points? The Raiders couldn't stop a sophomore from Wayne County last week on their own field, much less have a chance at stopping Ward, Victory, Green, Rich and company. These guys are veteran, play-off experienced players who don't know the meaning of nervous. I dare say the Trojan b-team can score 21 points against Moore county. Good luck, whiteshoes, and "pack a lot of ice". As for the farm comment, I live in the big city of Nash-vegas; I have never been to a farm. So bet all you want on weshudd's farm.
  2. Once again, whiteshoes, you are talking a good story and not predicting a score. Let me see if I can help. Knowing how good the Collinwood secondary is and the inability of the The Baby Blue offense to sustain a drive, I believe this one could get out of hand. My prediction will be: Collinwood 53 Moore County 6 Collinwood is due a big game, and the start of Region 6-A action will have them focused on possesing the ball and finishing every play. They are coming to Lynchburg on a 16-game region winning streak, and they are full of swagger. They are going to send a message to everyone else that this is their year. Collinwood will probably score as many as they want to until they put their b-team in, which arn't bad at all. I hope all the lights work on your scoreboard, because Collinwood will be lighting it up like the Grizwald Christmas tree on Christmas Eve.
  3. hey, whitwshoes, refer to wayne co versus morre co to determine your pick. weshudd sends a lot of love to Lynchburg.
  4. Hey all you baby-blue fans, where is the big celebration after defending the home turf against the wild"kittens". Hard-hitting? 11 guys that will light you up? I must of missed something when I heard the score. From the looks of the box score, it looks like the Wayne Co. sophomores took care of business. Touchdowns, 2-point conversions, interceptions? Maybe they didn't know where they were playing at. They didn't seem too intimidated. The score tells me that Wayne County dominated the line of scrimmage and made big plays when they had to. I bet three turnovers didn't help whiteshoes and big blue sleep too well on Friday night, either. I wish I was at the game to see the big baby blue crowd's faces when the final horn blew. A picture is worth a thousand words. Big week coming up at Moore Co. You have the mighty Trojans ROLLING into town, and they are full of swagger. You better find a way to keep that high-octane offense off your field, or the scoreboard will look like Christmas Eve at the Grizwald's house. Good luck Baby-Blue defending your house, it looks like a 1-2 start can't be avoided, and you still have to face Cascade and Cornersville. Perhaps a little more practice and a little less talkie-talkie would help your situation. Hey Franks whoever-you-are, I am not even from around that area. I am one of these "ALPHABET BOYS" up here in Nash-vegas who just enjoys watching you guys beat up on each other. As far as the coaching comment, it doesn't take much skill to see what I saw the last two weeks. Good luck to all teams in region 6A.
  5. Catsfan01, you have got to be kidding me. Wayne county hasn't scored 35 points against ANYBODY in a long time, and I dare say they will not score 35 AT Moore county on that field. Wayne county may beat them, but it will be something like 8-6. The Raiders have too much pride to let a one-demintional team like Wayne (power running Hunt) county to score a lot of points on big plays and long runs. The quarterback who started that game last year for Wayne county became injured and doesn't even start anymore. Are you telling me a Sophomore is going to go in and dictate the pace of the game, as well as throw the ball downfield for completions? I think not. Moore county will have 8-9 guys up in the "box" to stop Hunt and say, "I dare you to beat me deep, because I don't think you can."
  6. I agree with you, whiteshoes. how can anyone say that Moore county beating Wayne county could be an upset. First off, everybody knows Wayne county is a girls' basketball school, not a football school. Secondly, Moore county has been a football POWERHOUSE, especialy when they play at home. I would say they are 7-10 points better at home when they play there. Also, don't forget, Wayne county beat the mighty Raiders last year at Wayne county, so revenge is on the minds of Moore county. That loss last year put Moore county at 0-2 to start off the region last year (Collinwood beat them the next week for their 2nd loss). It is just a matter of how much the Raiders want to stick it to them for 40 minutes. Besides, Wayne county has 4 underclassmen starting at skill positions on offense, so they have never experienced the wrath of the Raider turf or the truck horn going off from the home pressbox.
  7. WAYNESBORO MIDDLE SCHOOL IS HOSTING A TOURNAMENT ON OCTOBER 29(TUES.) AND POSSIBLY OCTOBER 28. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SCHEDULING A GAME (BOYS AND GIRLS), CONTACT RYAN KEATON OR GREG MORRIS AT: WAYNESBORO MIDDLE SCHOOL 618 GREEN RIVER DR. WAYNESBORO, TN 38485 (931) 722-5545
  8. YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT WAYNE COUNTY WILL HAVE TO HAVE A BETTER OUTLOOK ON THEIR SEASON AFTER REPLACING THIER COACHING STAFF. THEY ALSO RETURN 4 STARTERS, HAVE A TRANSFER FROM HAMPSHIRE, AND ADD SEVERAL NEW FRESHMAN AND SOPHMORES FROM A SUCCESSFUL JR. HIGH PROGRAM. ONE FRESHMAN IS ALREADY ABOUT 6' 4", AND IS GETTING SOME STARTING TIME ON THE VARSITY FOOTBALL TEAM. TEAM CHEMISTRY WILL BE THE KEY, AND THESE PLAYERS SEEM TO GET ALONG WITH EACH OTHER VERY WELL. LOOK FOR THE WILDCATS TO MAKE A LITTLE NOISE IN THE DISTRICT THIS YEAR, AND NOT JUST FROM THE LADY CATS. I ALSO BELIEVE MT. PLSASANT WILL HAVE A BREAKTHROUGH YEAR AFTER LAST YEAR'S DISMAL SEASON. THEY HAVE PURE ATHLETES ON THAT SQUAD WHO CAN GET UP AND DOWN THE FLOOR. PERRY COUNTY WILL BE SOLID AGAIN THIS YEAR, DESPITE THE BELLY-ACHING THEIR FANS DO ON COACH-T. DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE NEWEST TEAM IN THE DISTRICT, ZION CHRISTIAN, WHO COULD RAISE SOME EYEBROWS WITH THEIR PLAY. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, I BELIEVE IT IS CLIFTONSOULJA34'S SENIOR YEAR THIS YEAR, SO EXPECT HIM TO MAKE A LOT OF NOISE, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. HE WILL PROBABLY MAKE MORE NOISE ON THIS SITE THAN HE DOES ALL YEAR SITTING ON THE BENCH IN FOUL TROUBLE. GOOD LUCK TO ALL; THIS SHOULD BE A KNOCK-DOWN, DRAG0OUT DISTRICT FIGHT 'TILL THE END.
  9. Sorry, Chakra. I didn't mean to offend you. My keyboard was on CAPSLOCK when I typed it. By no means do I want to offend you, because you seem to be a "Big Dawg" on this site with opinions on a lot of things. Please don't give me a bad mark for my carelessness, oh GREAT ONE!
  10. I NOTICED THE SCORE TO THE COLLINWOOD-LORETTO GAME WAS COLLINWOOD 33, LORETTO 21; NOT REALLY A MAJOR BLOW-OUT. WHAT INTRUIGED ME MORE WAS THE HALF-TIME SCORE OF 14-8. COLLINWOOD IS KNOWN FOR JUMPING ON PEOPLE EARLY AND OFTEN, ESPECIALY ON THEIR HOME TURF. I SAW LORETTO ON FILM FROM ONE OF THEIR SCRIMMAGES, AND THEY DIDN'T SEEM TO BE ABLE TO GRIND OUT THE YARDS ON THE GROUND; THEY SPLIT OUT TWO GUYS AND ISOLATED ON THE CORNERBACKS AND THREW THE BALL FO BIG YARDAGE. I GUESS WHAT I AM GETTING AT IS WHAT HAPPENED FRIDAY NIGHT? WAS IT A CASE OF NERVES BEING THE FIRST GAME? DID COLLINWOOD HAVE A LOT OF PENALTIES? WERE THERE TURNOVERS THAT COST THE TROJANS VALUABLE POSSESION TIME? MAYBE THE TROJAN DEFENSE HAD TROUBLE STOPPING THE MUSTANG ATTACK IN THE FIRST HALF? COULD THE TROJAN "D" BE SLIPPING A TAD ON SHUTTING PEOPLE DOWN? JUST WONDERING, BACAUSE I DID NOT GET A CHANCE TO SEE THE GAME.
  11. HEY, MUDDMAN, THE MAJOR WITH COLLINWOOD BOYS BASKETBALL IS THEIR TOP THREE ATHLETES DO NOT EVEN PLAY. WARD AND VICTORY WOULD MAKE ANY TEAM BETTER, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE NOT PLAYED SINCE THEIR FRESHMAN YEAR. SO FOR COLLINWOOD TO UPSET THE LIKES OF PERRY CO. AND SANTA FE IS A LITTLE PROPOSTERIOUS AT THIS TIME, KHOWING WHAT THEY HAVE HAD THE LAST THREE YEARS COMING UP IN JUNIOR HIGH. YOU BETTER TALK TO YOUR BOYS WARD AND VICTORY AND RECRUIT HARD FOR THE BASKETBALL PROGRAM. WITHOUT THESE TWO IN UNIFORM, THE TROJANS WILL BE A 5-6TH PLACE FINISH IN A TOUGH DISTRICT THIS YEAR.
