  1. Officiating was absolutely ridiculous.... I'm sorry, but it was one of the most poorly officiated games I've ever seen. All three refs made horrible calls at different times. However, Ooltewah missed shots that should've been made easily. Baker was not a happy camper... sat directly behind him the entire game, but all in all, both teams gave it one heck of a run. I talked to a former Soddy Daisy basketball coach afterwards and she mentioned that luckily, the game that counts most is in the district tournament, and with that she is right, so hopefully the Owls will bounce back and look for some revenge against the Panthers from Brainerd.
  2. Hey, that was your choice to let everyone know what a moron you are by identifying yourself. I don't complain about... Cleveland's fans, or Notre Dame's fan's... Walker Valley's fans, or McMinn's fans.... I don't know you, nor do I intend getting to know you, but I didn't start this to begin with....
  3. You have a very good point, all I'm trying to stress is that Central came to a visiting school and represented themselves poorly. Will Ooltewah do the same to them? Hm, not too sure, but I didn't see our fans behaving that way at the football game this year.
  4. Not backing up our talk? How? SCOREBOARD!!!!!!! We didn't say one negative thing toward your fans until we ranted you about your Jeep, LOL, and then we sereignated you. That might be spelled wrong, but even if it was, you couldn't comprehend it.
  5. Ha, as far as I know, nothing happened either way.... just a bunch of crap talking coming from the Pansies.
  6. HAHAHAHAHA! I'm laughing.... I swear Stokes, you and your little fan club over there at Central are the most classless people on the face of this earth. I liked your little purple pansy outfits, too. You guys lose and still talk crap, I love it. Parking lot? Taco Bell? Nice chants... but my favorite had to be Pounders RULE, Ooltewah stinks... LOL, how creative....
  7. I don't think he'd start over Foster, he's earned his spot. Murray has as well, but it's first year starting, so he's yet to make a name for himself.
  8. I think Ooltewah took out McMinn by four pins.... not sure, as I was supposed to go, but got into a car accident on the way there
  9. Right on, mnewballer.... all this talk about getting in Porter's head and all he did was make you guys look stupid.
  10. Ooltewah was absolutely FLAT tonight... nothing seemed to be clicking for them. However, a win is a win, and we'll take it anyway we get it. McMinn fought hard, and I thought some officiating was bad both ways. A team is entitled to a bad game here and there, but luckily, the Owls came out on top for their "bad" game. It looked as if there were... hmm, I'd say "too many chiefs and not enough indians" tonight for both teams. Looked as if too many players were trying to force things and take control instead of playing the team game. And whats that about White taking a step backwards? He was named MVP of the Thanksgiving tournament, and tonight was probably an off game for him, but he still put up 13 point. Yes, for Ooltewah to compete with the Brainerds and Bradleys, he needs to be able to provide in those games, but hey, nobody's perfect and a bad game happens here and there.
  11. Three Words: Where is zander? Hey, good game Soddy, they stuck with the Owls for awhile. No shame in that.... I think HotSauce is right about the maturity, because Soddy fundamentally is a good team, but it looks like they need time to develop chemistry. I'm glad Ooltewah came out and provided a good game on their own court.
  12. Ha, who couldn't beat Coach Hamrick Look, everyone needs to get off of the topic of Ms. Wood. I have her as a teacher, and frankly, I think she's a really nice lady and I've learned tons from her in the short period of time she's been at Ooltewah. She has her moments, but hey, who doesn't? This topic is about the Soddy Daisy-Ooltewah basketball game that goes underway in about 3 hours. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend this game but definitely pullin for the Owls. I think it'll be close, but: The Owls from Hooterville: 72 Soddy Daisy Trojans: 64
  13. Glad we could settle this in the right manner....
  14. Well, Rigger, from a respectful standpoint I will say this: I'm glad you like to keep up with the high school sports world, and you obviously have a close relationship with your son (which is excellent). Where do you get off telling me about my parents teaching me NOT to attack adults? I apologize if it seemed if I was attacking you, but my viewpoint seemed that you were getting involved with something you shouldn't have... but from your viewpoint, I'm doing the same thing by telling you not to argue with high schoolers. As far as my posts from baseball, thats my business, but once again, from a respectful standpoint, what you say in the wrestling forum is your business. I hope you can recognize the classful act I'm trying to display here... Ooltewah and Central have a huge rivalry, no doubt, but saying I'm making our fans look bad is uncalled for as well. Your telling me to be nice? I like that comment about the letterman's jacket from bowling. I could care less about bowling, I do it for the fun, and its just something to do in the off season. Lets just leave it at that, because, as your trying to imply, it is pointless for a 16 year old kid to argue with an adult.
  15. Jimmydean would annihilate you.... or is that too big of a word for you to comprehend?
  16. Rigger- Grow up... honestly... your son's in college and all you do is sit on CoachT arguing with high schoolers. I hope you feel good about yourself...
  17. Where's our boy zander? Bottom line with the Ooltewah-Soddy game: Both teams have edges in certain aspects of the game. I will agree that Soddy has more depth. However, Ooltewah has more firepower. The starting five is real tough to get by, but Soddy will manage to hang with Ooltewah... Ooltewah- 71 Soddy Daisy- 64
  18. Yeah, Soddy Daisy is undefeated... I'll give credit where credit is due. I hope they have a successful year... but when Ooltewah played Notre Dame it was the first game of the year, got to keep that in consideration. Its still very early and only time will tell how both teams will do. December 10th will be an interesting test....
  19. That was also very early in the season. The best team in the area, in my opinion, is Hixson. If your from Walker Valley and you bowl in the # 1 slot, then you do have some bragging rights, but don't be a sore winner.
  20. Well if you were smart enough to read one of my previous posts, I specifically noted Corey Samples from WV... but if I had to name a few others I'd list Matt Farmer and TJ Smiley.
  21. Even your own school doesn't like you.... what are you, the team manager or something?
  22. I hope Hixson smashes Soddy just so zander will SHUT UP!
  23. Hopefully Ooltewah comes out strong at the beginning like they did against Notre Dame. However, if they let up just a little bit against a team like Cleveland, it might get ugly. This will be a good test for both teams to prove where they stand in the region.
  24. Yeah, Grad, whatcha shootin these days? Walker Valley has a good team, but their bottom 3 are inconsistent.
