Well, I will start by saying a big congrats to Huntingdon on a dominating victory. We are all a family in 6-2a when we are not playing each other. Now for the sad news. I tell my wife every year that my year begins in August and ends when the Vols play there last game. Looks like it will be Jan 2 in the Peach Bowl. Football season has come and past in the high school ranks and my count down has begun until August when we can start talking the talk again. So, with that, I say see ya until August. (I could care less about basketball. I am not from Ky!!) To all the seniors who are continuing on in college, I wish you well and remember that football is secondary to your education. And to the ones who are not fortunate enough to play at the next level, hold on to your memories of the last 4 years for it doesn't get any better than "Friday nights under the lights."

LC The only reason why I started this thread was b/c you answered and put the "dumb" in your reply. I was only giving my opinion and prediction like everyone else on here. I based it on having seen Huntingdon play us and then us playing you guys. I knew that your offense was not fast enough to handle that Huntingdon D. And I also knew that your D could not catch Huntingdon if they got into the secondary. I listened to the game and it sounded like early you guys were doing a decent job of keeping them contained to the inside. I read on another post someone was bad mouthing Coach Sharp and you said it would be a honor to play again for him next year. So, I assume that you are a player. I will offer this advice. Dont get on here and trash talk. Show class in all you do. Don't stoop to the level of other people. Remember that you are representing not only yourself, but your family, team, school and community. Be proud to play for LC but also have some pride and bite your tounge sometime. Let your actions on the field do all your talking. I am a former coach for McKenzie and I played at a traditional power in high school at White House in northern middle Tn and our coaches there always preached to us to be class people and have pride. I preached this to my middle school kids when I had them at McKenzie. My last group I had played there last game the other night. I know that they are class people . Good luck to you next year.

Yeah Don, Wannabe is right. No disrespect to Lewis Co. just one guy who took it upon himself to call me dumb after I made prediction. Turns out my prediction was only 1 pt off the mark. I agree w/ you on the officials. Lets face it, the TSSAA does alot of things that make you go, hmmmmmm? You guys have excellent football team and again no disrespect intended.

Congrats to the Huntingdon Mustangs for taking Lewis Co. to the "Woodshed"!! They not only beat Lewis Co but they also beat the officials tonight. Which was the majority of the Lewis Co. offense. Hey LCPanther, this is dumb Volsandtitans talking, I guess I was off by a point. It was only 29. My bad. Hated to disappoint you. See you next year. Volsandtitans signing off until August. lowrider, I will give you two things, 1. McKenzie season is over and 2. it was not the bands fault. What I will not give you is McKenzie stinks. Yes, LC beat us. Yes, we did not play to our potential. Yes, LC is a good football team. And finally, in my opinion, you are in the same mix as McKenzie Rebel. Instead of lowrider you should change your name to lowclass b/c you have none.

i agree wannabe. i will say this though, there was only one table up there when we were there so if the Logan and Kent need another table, just ask the AD at Lewis Co. Very nice guy!! I believe his last name was Tatum.

Most of there big yards came outside. They a little success up the middle but nothing that will kill you if you stay at home.

Again, another McKenzie Rebel sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. You know darn good and well if we were ranked up there w/ Milan or if we had beat Huntingdon and Lewis Co., you would be talking the talk. The old saying is "If you can't walk the walk, Don't talk the talk". Well our walk ended last Friday night. I apologize for the above remarks and please don't think all McKenzie supporters are like that. If I was Milan or Huntingdon, I would be proud to talk about our players. But I would not belittle one another.

Pretty much on target stang. They pursue the football the best i have seen from a team in a long time. they are decent size up front. vs mckenzie, they had down lineman and dropped everyone else back in pass coverage. if they don't contain outside on you guys, it will be a long night for them. the problem is if they stop bell and weathers on the corner, they still have to stop Donald up the middle on the FB trap. On defense the only threat to you guys is the QB Sharp. He is very allusive and you must gang tackle him. When you think you got him, he slips free and runs. He does a good job w/ the option. They only attempted I think one pass vs us and it was good for 18 yards.

Huntingdon by 30, minimum!! I thought I would never say this but "Go Mustangs"!!! I was not one crying about the band, but it does in fact show no class for a band to play when either team is trying to run a play. I would like to say that the fans at Lewis Co. were very polite and that has always been the case for the times McKenzie has traveled there.

Huntingdon will give you all the respect you need.

Totally no class!!! Wannab and myself are on the same page. I would gurantee 99.9999999999............% that no one from McKenzie posted that ad in your paper. But on the off chance they did, I will apologize for them for they have disgraced our program w/ such a classless and idiotic act. I wish your guys Good Luck tonight and I pray all the players, coaches and fans are kept safe. Only 4 hours and 15 minutes until kickoff.

How strong is your pass defense? What is your yardage given up so far?

wannab, I think you are right. I was talking to one of the players last night and he said that they have small guards and decent size tackles. He said they remind you alot of dresden. It all depends on how our defense is handling the wing-t. If we are defending it pretty well, I agree that we establish the run like last week and let Cook and Campbell go off again. That would be ideal. If we are having trouble adjusting to it, you may see alot more passes early to get quick scores. Yeah, I too, am waiting for the wrinkle. We have seen one every week.
