First of all your an idiot. AC has shown they can compete with Fulton at Fulton. Secondly AE has no discipline and gets out of control at times, so we will see how things turn out. Lastly you don't have to have perfect grammar, but learn how to spell. I feel dumber now after reading your post. If you are actually 44 years old, then you might want to enroll in some adult ed. classes to help you out.

First of all they could of easily beat Fulton, they just had some bad breaks at the end of the game, and then lost in OT. Also, what does last year have to do with anything in the district. That is stupid. As for them playing AE, they definitely wont have the speed, but they will be better coached. I don't like bad mouthing coaches because they do a lot of work for not much money, but if AE had a more structured coach they would be unbeatable.

Rumor was that Virginia Tech really liked what he did at their camp last year, and was quite interested in offering him a scholarship. But this is just a rumor that I heard. For going to UT, right now he is way to slow, but so was Childress when he came to UT, and he is now contributing. Ill let the expert recruiters decide that one though.

Maryville wins with class 35 - 7 but they could of easily scored 70, but it was nice for them getting to use about 5 different QB's.

Fulton 44 AC 7 Looks like fulton is already back on track. It also looks like the Oak Ridge loss wasn't as bad as we thought bc Oak Ridge is better then expected with their win tonight. Can't wait to see what Fulton has to offer for the rest of their region. AC you might be healthier, but there is still a long way to go before you can compete in the toughest region in 3 A

You are correct only 24 hours are needed to graduate. Alot of those are still elective classes including PE and wellness. The only new change that might affect the classes is they are requiring 4 credits of math instead of 3. So if this is the case why should we worry about the kids having varsity sports. It gives the kids a chance to practice early, and get home earlier to do homework. So wouldn't that be better for students? Why is there not a fuss for students receiving 8 band credits? That is something that they do for school and extra-curricullar activities, the same should go for varsity athletics. Also, another point is most freshmen are not on the varsity teams, so when I was in school they weren't elgible for varsity sports till the spring of their freshmen year. This would mean that they would even have an additional chance to receive another credit. let the kids have Varsity sports, or get rid of block scheduling.

AC seems like they have more weapons this year, and if they stay healthy then they will be the third or fourth team to come out of the region. AC don't get to far ahead of yourselves, because beating Clinton isn't a great achievement. Fulton will come to town and win this one, but it will be close. The refs shouldn't be any worse there then other places. Refs do the best they can, the problem with that is their best doesn't give anyone a true test of football.

It is nice to see that another year has come and gone and District 4 was sweeped in the first round of the regions. Anderson County the only true shot to win a game in the district couldnt throw the ball in the ocean. Lenoir City got beat even after a late charge, Scott lost like expected but surprisingly kept it closer then thought, and last Kingston got beat but no surprise there. Even though the districts will be readjusted next year I wonder if this district will ever have a shot of getting past the regions. Maybe they need to start taking the top 3 teams again, atleast then there was a shot of a team from the district going. Congrats to AE, Fulton, Seymour, and Alcoa on great wins. It should be interesting to see if the normal AE vs Fulton matchup will come around friday night. I hope to see it.

i am glad to see them not in it. Now everyone wont be drooling over tennessees recruits and making them offers. it will help tn basketball out more that they dont play

Refs were not as big of a factor before they went to 3 officials. 2 can do the job just fine, and refs wont be out there trying to get their whistle time in, if you no what I mean. Go an watch Georgia and Kentucky ball, they have 2 officials and they let the kids play, maybe we should learn something from this.

lady vols, never beat the guys. I know some guys that played on the lady vols practice team and they used to beat the ladies alot of times, and they were hacks that couldnt make it college. The lady vols cant beat the guys. For girls playing football, I have seen some big girls out there that probably have more testosterone than the man on this site. So if they want, then they should get a chance, but there should be no exceptions made when it gets tough, they should have to do the same things as the guys.

The answer is Tyler Harris, he was a player with incredible spped for his size, but didnt have the response to do much. He was on Alabama's starting special teams as a freshman and he then hurt his shoulder, and never tried to play again, since that was his second big injury and he knew it wasnt worth it. His first was when he hurt his neck his Senior year in high school. Tyler was a great kid, but his father was a joke, Tyler couldnt even stand his father...

Hold up one second there BIGDOGG, the only allowed to bad mouth LC ball is me. You dont need to jump into something if you dont know nothing. LC plays great Defense. They always have played great defense. But they do shoot too many threes. and yes there big man hasnt played great this year, but he had great off season and improved in strength and if Coach Gray lights a fire under his butt he will a the 2nd best post player in the state. TO your AC team, yes they have a great team, but they dont have the best talent, they have 2 great players, 2 good players, and the rest are hustlers, but they do have the best coaching staff in the district, and 2nd best in the region.. Derrick and Mark will have these boys at the top of the district, but BIGDog dont expect it will be a cake walk. If Union Co can beat AC then anybody can....

I was gone for the hollidays, so I wont talk any trash about LC since you all did go 1-2 in the first week of play. Wow that is dominance. Anyways for Oliver Springs, you all better have a cupcake non-district schedule becasue the only district game you all will be winning is the Loudon game, wellllllll maybe not. You all probably wont when one at all. I was surprised to see the Kingston scores over the holliday. It looks like you all squeeked out a win against a terrible team from Wales. Thats good for team moral. but what happend the rest of the week. You all have let me down. I figured you all would be stronger then you have been, but give it time and I think you all still have the 2nd best team in the district. AC wow it looks like Eldridge has you all ready to play, it looks like you all can easily win the district, but will end up 4th in the region...

Sorry LC fans, but I was back home over Thanksgiving and didnt get to write any good posts. I heard you all played good last week at Sequoyah, but then again it was sequoyah. I look to see you all have trouble with Scott Co, it is a long bus ride and that will make you all tight from the get go. Scott Co will come at you in the beginning, but I think you all will win this one by a close margin. and I look to see LC go undefeated in their first week of District play. Atleast you better, cause AC and Kingston arent too far away....

Alcoa has 2 ball players still in football, they are contributors, but Alcoa still has plenty of boys that can fill it up. Alcoa will not be down as much as people think. It will be a tough game for Anderson Co. Alcoa by 10

Congrats to both teams, It jsut stinks the best 2 teams in 4A had to meet in the quarters and not in the finals...

Let me be the first to take my foot out of my mouth. I didnt give you all any respect in the past, but you definitely have my respect now. Goodluck and bring back a championship to knoxville, Know area is looking good all the way across the boards. 5a Oak Ridge, 4a Marville, 3a FUlton, 2a Alcoa, 1a CAK, and Catholic. That is what is all about, THe knox area representing.

I am just stateing the obvious, anyone who has seen LC knows what they are going to do, and what they have player wise.... They are the most predictable team in the region, and I am sorry if you dont like what you heard, but dont ask next time and I wont give you an answer. Until LC can prove something they will get NO respect from me, they are bunch of Babies, who always have an excuse for everything.... If you want I can tell you about other teams to.... YOu just asked about LC and I gave you the answer, I guess you are probably on of the poor athletes for LC, or you wouldnt get worked up over it..... Also I can tell you more about LC if you want to know, becasue I know about everything that is going on in that team. I just state what needs to be watched out for.....

I was not at the game, but to answer your question, No LC will not run a new system. The old assistant coach is still there, and the new coach hasnt coached in 8 years and that was in middle school, so he decided to keep the old system, because he doesnt have his own system....

LC has a good inside game, but their post player is scared to death of getting his shot blocked so he wont be a factor against the athletes of west. Also, LC's guard play is very weak, west will cause many turnovers for LC. The one thing LC has is they can shoot the rock from deep, so if they get hot from outside then they might make it close, but dont count on it..

when in doubt blame the refs.... sounds like someone is a sore loser... Anyways. Greenback wins a close one. CAK has played well, and luck has been on their side, but it might run out. I would like to see CAK win, I just dont think it will happen.. Goodluck to both teams..

To say central doesnt have the players to compete in basketball is about the most ignorant comments I have heard on Coach T. Central High School is crawling with athletes. The problem is getting them to play.. Coach Helton makes it very tuff to play football and basketball. Last years coach told me he got tired of Helton holding meetings for football players during basketball practice, and made it mandatory to be there. The school administration goes along with it... Until the school system makes football only a fall sport, then Central will not have a successful basketball team no matter who the coach is.....
