Ripley has by far the best high school field and grounds crew in Tennessee.

Ripley did not lose any pitching our best pitcher is just a junior. Also we are returning the 2003 player of the year Blake McAdams and also the Coach of the year Coach Joe Bridges. We should be in the thick of things. South Side might have been 3 outs away, but Ripley won the state and was undeafted in tourney play.

All of these are returning starters for the 2003 State Champs with the execption of Danny Joe Edenfield and Tyler Pattat. These guys should go deep in the playoffs,if all stay healthy and score runs with Coach Joe Bridges as 2003 Coach of the Year and Blake McAdams as 2A 2003 player of the Year . Check out the first two Pitchers stats from 2003 Conrad & Butler , Brent Lankford and Garrett Pipkin as good of defensive players as there are in high school ball. When you are the prior State Champs everyone is gunning for you trying to knock you off that spot .
