  1. Greenbrier, I really enjoyed the trip to your town. Everyone I spoke to was really friendly and and ya'll definetely have one of the classisest teams in the state. You guys are a great football team and have nothing to be ashamed of this year. Your fans are great and if ya'll would have won I would be at state cheering ya'll on next week. Thanks for ya'll's support for us next week, we hope to bring it back to this side of the state. Can't wait for ya'll to visit our town next year. Go bobcats and Go chargers!
  2. Fulton you better be ready because cockiness kills. What have y'all won to talk trash? Just be ready for a heck of a game. GO CHARGERS!!!!!!!!
  3. Oh yea I forgot to mention a player that has really impressed me, a sophomore named Joe Freeman...he's an iron man linebacker/guard/fullback great insticts and a powerful hitter...watch for this young man in the future...he's got Division I written all over him.
  4. Well thanks, and best of luck to Macon from the small western tn. town of Covington...Go Chargers and Tigers!
  5. I've been noticing alot of friendly posts between you guys and Macon. How did yall get so tight? But anywho, what would be a good time to get to the game....is there a big crowd expected and should I plan to leave an hour earlier?
  6. I sure appreciate it and I'll see ya'll Friday night come rain, snow, sleet, or post Thanksgiving indigestion.
  7. I can't wait to pay a visit to your town...I got a couple college buddies that are from there so we have been talkin trash all week but it's all in fun. I think it will be a good game..by the way, what's to eat up there, any good resturants? GO CHARGERS! And what are the quickest directions if your coming up I-40 from Memphis
  8. I traveled with the chargers as a player and a fan for a long time and I have to say I was impressed with Dyer County's new stadium. It had good parking, great sound and lighting, lots of room, and just really nice and modern. I also think Ripley has a nice feild and good atmosphere. Covington has a good one also, gotta plug my home, lots of seating, and the feild surface is always Grade A, and a new 2 story pressbox is a plus. However parking can be a pain.
  9. Aight bobcats...let me introduce to you some of the weapons on the Covington team......Michael Grandberry (tailback), a speedster, no very big but really fast and can cut really well, also a good defensive back with many INT's. Damian Smith (Fullback), a real workhorse, short and stocky but his legs never stop moving and always puches the line forward for that extra yard. William Dyson (D-end), nicknamed the Freak for his freakish strenth, 350 bench, 340 power clean, a mad man on the D-line, sacks in the double-digits. Jermit Young (linebacker), top tackler, all the key ingredients for college, sided by Mark Goforth who has excellent sideline to sideline speed and also a very potent reciever. Allen Williams (quarterback) good arm and pretty accurate, he will throw the opposing defense some surprises. The defense is really strong up front, best line in years. Offense has come together. I know both teams really want it and I know this will be a great game...good luck to the bobcats....and I will see yall friday night in the Brier...I hear ya'll got some good hospitality and some good food. Go CHargers!
  10. To be a great team and to call yourself a great team you have to fight through adversity. Crockett could not overcome an injury to their stud running back. Although he was great, you could never depend solely on one player to carry you for an entire season. I feel bad that your season had to end like that, but injuries happen and there are no excuses. Greenbrier beat you. End it at that. I read posts two years ago when Crockett beat Covington and we could have come up with tons of excuses but we didn't. Y'all lost. End it at that!!!
  11. I have to say the trip up there is a long one and our boys wil have to be totally focused on the game...if not will be riding home sad....but I do think that this covingto has what it takes to prevail...so go chargers..and good luck to the bobcats
  12. Well, who would have picked these two teams 3 weeks ago to make it to the semi's? Any thoughts, predictions on the game? Congrats to the Bobcats and i'm looking forward to heading up there next week. Go Chargers!
  13. do what? come on bro' I know you got better than that.....aight nuff trash talkin , it was fun...good luck to the cavs and I hope to se yall in the semi's good luck against greenbrier....west tn will bring it home this year whether its us or yall so good luck
  14. you guys are way overated and I hope yall survive greenbreir so we get a chance at you
  15. Well, I guarantee you that you can ask any rideway fan that we were 2nd best in the state that year and gave em' their hardest challenge even tougher than the runner up we just made that state championship game in the 3rd round #1 vs #2...yall just provided the icing on the cake to their gold trophy
