  1. How many Alcoa fans on here have actually seen any film on Milan? If so, tell me some strengths and weakness you see.

  3. Well.......at least you're honest.
  4. I:ve heard a lot of the same. Milan doesn't run a spread, veer, or wing t and all those offenses play into Aloca's strength on defense. Turnovers and time of possession will decide the winner of this one.
  5. 2879 yds. rushing 1966 yds. passing Alcoa is favored ( a four time defending champ should be) but they have to play 4 quarters against a Milan team that has the coaching staff and players capable of beating them.
  6. Milan could have easily put 42 on your GP team had they wanted to do so. Milan starts 8 seniors, 8 juniors, and 2 sophomores.
  7. One thing is for sure, Jeff will be pulling for the Bulldogs.
  8. This is going to be a great game between two great teams and programs.
  9. Hoping for a Hwy. 79 trio at the big show. Milan, Mckenzie, and Henry Co. need to take care of business this week and make it happen.

  11. Good luck to the Patriots. Would like to see the Henry Co./Milan make it to the Buro'.
  12. I agree it was a great job by the coaches. I thought Christian, Luke, and Cody dominated up front putting pressure on the QB.
  13. Forget the gates (although the gate would be huge) and the wins. D1 scouts follow Henry Co. and it can't be nothing but a positive for Milan to play them and have their better players exposed to that.
  14. If it's disappointing for you to hear the truth then so be it.
  15. I expect to see Milan's best effort Friday. If that happens, we host a semi-final game.
  16. Kind of easy to have 133 tackles when the D line is just trying to cut the Oline down at the knees.
  17. Too bad that will all end for JCS after this season. I just don't understand leaving D1 and going to play the Harding, Bishop Byrne, and the St. George's of the world. Coach Stewart can spin it all he wants but winning a state championship against those 11-12 teams means nothing more than winning a region championship. You guys compete well here and the d1 district you were going to be in next year is easier than 8-2A.
  18. Milan looked like an average team against Westview. That needs to change this week against a team that will be coming to Johnnie Hale with something to prove.
  19. Milan, Dyersburg, Crockett Co., Covington, Ripley, Haywood Co., Obion Co., Gibson Co., Martin Westview.
  20. Milan's Avery Williamson 6'1 215 LB. This kid went to Ole Miss last summer and won MVP LB as a Junior. He's the real deal.
  21. Based on what I"ve seen. Avery Williamson LB Milan and Jake Overbey QB USJ are my two picks.
  22. This is the bottom line. Milan gave up more pts. to USJ than Alcoa has given up all year.
