In my day I didn't lif many weights, but that was before the stars 6min ab videos. Did a bunch of 12oz curls though. Probably why I didn't make it further. Weights aren't nearly as bad as you think. Kinda like running distance. I wouldn't do a hard workout the day I'm starting against farragut, or even the day before, but as a whole it will only improve what you're doing in any sport. A guy I talked to today has his guys workout 1 1/2 hours a day year round regardless of what they play, but that is to look good in tommie copper commercials.

Honestly I didn't read either of those posts. Hope Blount gets a good coach. Jake and all the level headed fans deserve one.

Get over yourself. Jake does more to help the program than most. As for my view of WB it is pretty close to yours. Good players poor coaching sonce Meadows left. Under-achieving. Pretty sure that was what you took exception with me saying all spring and summer. Don't care if you like me or my opinion. Foul wasn't called until after the ball was possessed by West. Just because you saw it doesn't mean it is so. I asked my friend that was a referee in this game if that was the correct call, and he said it absolutely was a mistake on their part.

Rhea did play harder in the 2nd half, but you are wrong about the interception. The fouls took place after the ball changed possession. The offsetting fouls would have nullified the return, but the ball should have belonged to West. That is the same as if the ball had been punted, kicked or fumbled.

I spoke to a guy that was on the crew for this game last night. He swears there was no home-cookin. He quoted Cam Brady '012.

Really bad officiating. Vast majority went against West. Don't know who was trying to defend the no call on the TD pass to #85 to tie it, but that was the type of call that gets a ref banned from working again. Believe that the offsetting unsportsmanlike fouls were post possession, which means West should have kept the ball at least after the inadvertent whistle. Not to mention that there was a few TDs called back against West for holding. You could call holding on every single down of a high school football game. These guys wanted to be seen last night. Very very poor!
