That had to be one of the worst officiating crews that I have seen . I try not to judge or down grade the refs but this crew took the cake .One example was on Q.B. keeper and was tackeled and clearly down play over and the ref called a fumble R.C. ball another was the holding of the recivers an a number of times.If the chattanooga area crews are all like that I feel sorry for that region /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

You are telling me that when the band comes out or the soccer team comes the football team has to stop and yield to these other activities and go find another place to practice? That is about the dumbest thing I have heard of. The football team needs to be priority thay bring in most of the money for athletic budget Most people come to a football game to see FOOTBALL .Sounds like the parents need to go tapdance on somebodys desk and demand respect for the football team that these players deserve . I don`t know what kind of problems you are having at L.C. but I would like to say that the players that were at the game last night GOOD JOB you knew comming and playing Maryville was going to be a tough still you came and played and played with a lot of heart and disire. You have some good coaches on the sideline and with what I counted 47 players a lot of kids may of played both ways. Maryville knew you were there yea the 2nds were in at the 3rd quarter but they are very very good 2nds and you played hard and even scored .So keep your heads up go out and find some players L.C. is a big town and youu can`t tell me that there are no football players that can build up that program and compete in 4A I hope that the Maryville team I support playes as hard as you all did. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

You are correct on the freshman game.How about the J.V. game ?I watched a total beatdown of the O.R. J.V. Monday night .Number 12 passed at will against them and number 25 ran for some good yards. Are you not the same persom that predicted that Maryville would blow away Halls and that it would be an easy win ? We see how that turned out. You don`t understand that any team that is playing Maryville will play the hardest they have all year .If L.C. beat Maryville that would make their whole year even if that was their only win . This is senior night at Maryville and there are a lot of seniors banged up at this time of the season so hopefully they can get some early rest, but they will start and play at this game and score enough to let the 2nds in to finish. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

What I am saying is that some people think that to be a successful program that you have to play outside the state which is ok if that is what the team want`s to do, but you open yourself up to this tempetation and a lot of coaches fall into the same problems and highschool is no place for such things like this to happen . /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

ATTENTION WILLIAM BLOUNT FOOTBALL PLAYERS. Think back to the Maryville game and remember how bad you wanted to win how hard you played the emotions you went through. Well now that you have established yourselves as the team to beat every week ,your reputation of winning is on the minds of the team your playing well before you step on the field to play. So now these teams are felling that way about you same emotions same intensity ready to challenge you on every play . Some teams thrive to be the spoiler and if you don`t stay FOCUSED one will bite you in the butt. With my son playing on the Maryville team I have seen this first hand they have to prepare for Lenoir City as hard as the prepared for you. Iknow a lot of good kids on this team and I would love to see them bring a gold ball back to Blount county /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Maryville is going for win number 54 and Halls is looking better than they have in a long time. How will this go?

If you watch at the end of the 4th quarter when number 12 is in at Q.B. the officials blow the play dead and it seemed that G.Q. asked what it was for it sounded like the side judge told him to shut upand it ended up with no penalty.

I think West will give Maryville a good game and play hard. If Burnett plays or doesn`t play Maryville will be ready and they will have Chamberlain ready to play .
