  1. Well, we played Monterey again last night and the score speaks for itself. You combine the point total of two Catholic players, and that is more than Monterey had as a team. The varsity players played one and a half quarters. But whatever, SD is better than us, I am wrong.

Wow, and Monterey is 1 - 15 this year, Catholic should be proud that two players outscored a powerhouse like Monterey. By the way, why is a big recruiting Division 2 school like Catholic playing teams like Monterey anyway???

  2. Oh, to the bone larry. That one sunk right in. Owweee. I'm a fool am I? Haha. Wow. You think I or anyone from Catholic cares if you think Catholic recruits. Oh, and please forgive me for thinking Catholic would be single A. I don't keep up with how many students it takes to be classified where, I leave it up to geeks such as yourself who pour heart and soul into beloved sports for lack of an actual life. I am tired of arguing this crap. Catholic would beat CAK in football, and they did in basketball. Theres no argument.

I don't know if Catholic would beat CAK in football, but they should, with double the students and the ability to recruit or at least give financial assistance to students.

  3. If Catholic, which also offers no financial aid to students, played in single A, they would win state championships in many sports. But they choose the higher road, playing teams in Divison II that recruit........

First of all, your first sentence is a lie. Secondly, if you, Catholic, played D-I instead of D-II, you wouldn't be in Class A anyway you fool, Catholic would be in Class AA, because you have 400+ students. Class A is for schools with less than 400 students. CAK only has 249.

By the way, Catholic doesn't choose to play D-II, they have to. HAPPY RECRUITING, you'll need it to be the best football team, of the whole 9 teams state-wide, that play in your football division.

  4. You mean Dalton91 knows the identity of CoachLogan74, how, that's impossible. With a username like CoachLogan74, I wouldn't think anyone could figure out his idenity. I hope CoachLogan74 isn't still wearing his flannel panties from the cold Cloudland game?

  5. hey, im goin to the game friday and i was just wondering if CAK has a nice stadium?

Yes, the stadium is brand new, just put up last year. It's nice, but not huge. I think CAK is bringing in some extra bleachers for the game.

  6. Catholic has had a great year, and it would be great if they can win it all, but I just hate that if they win, they will only finish 1st out of 9 teams, and many of those teams are weak this year. Now Catholic can't help that their division only has 9 teams and is weak, but they can help their schedule. If they would have at least played a decent non-conference game against a Fulton, Seymour, or even McCallie, that would show people how they compare to the other schools. As it stands, they beat up on a bunch of sorry teams, and won all their games so far against their division teams.

  7. I don't know about being a future head coach, due to his age and his appeared happiness as an assistant to Bill Young, but Alan Carlin has got to be one of the best asst. coaches around. He had coached with Bill Young at Bearden for years, and last year, both came over to CAK, where in just their second year, have led CAK to round 2 of the playoffs. Coach Carlin is a defensive specialist, as his teams show on the field.

  8. Yeah right :D You all will show up in an atmosphere like you've never seen!! Ask 3 time state champ South Pitt what its like to play in the frozen tundra. Region 2 is super weak and we will expose that, now belee dat!! What has CAK ever done but lose

what's so great about the football atmosphere at Cloudland?
