Who all did CG play? Yes winning games is important, but who were those wins against?

HaveitYourWay, I am getting the information from the Gibbs thread for the most part of it. It has mentioned Qualls, Hassel, Hurst and my neighbor said he heard that another coach name would be brought up. Again, like I said on that thread this could be complete crap. It rumors, which in most cases turn out to be crap. I have no first hand information and I have no clue if the neighbor does. Anybody know any first hand information on any of the Halls guys being interested?

Several Halls coaches have been mentioned on the Gibbs thread that maybe interested in the job. My neighbor spoke of another that could possibly be interested today. Could be all rumors, but does anybody have any info on all this?Also any of the seniors going on to play on saturdays

Three Halls coaches have been named as possible candidates on here. Obviously we do not know if that is true or not, but I heard from a neighbor that there maybe another Halls coach whose name will appear before all is said and done. Again information from a neighbor, could possibly be false, but it is the point of this board right? The coach is another young guy, but I think most are young on the Halls staff.

Redandblack I guess it could also be Hurst that you have heard. They both start with a H, but Hassell looks more like Heiskel or whatever it was. Heiskel down around Baxter avenue isn't it?

The Sheppard and McMillan thing seems like a stretch, but stranger things have happened. I am assuming that the two Halls coaches are Qualls, who has been mentioned previously, and Hassell which has not been mentioned before. Does anyone have firsthand knowledge if either one of or both are interested in the job. Also when is the deadline for applications? It seems like this has been going on for several weeks and no one has any firsthand information on who maybe applying.

If Qualls got the job is there the possibility that some of the Halls coaches go with him? Also, the whole staff at Halls seems young so is there a chance that more than one of them would be interested in the job? I have heard there is more than one that have some sort of tie to Gibbs, but that is all rumors from not real reliable sources.

they lost their best running back, two great wr, their qb, and that good lb that is going to navy or somewhere. how do you figure they won't drop off hard? if they have people that can replace all those guys waiting in line they would have been a lot better than 6-4 or whatever they were in the regular season. anyways it a halls thread, start a thread about west we can talk abou it there.

After reading the red bank vs. halls thread and this thread it seems that qualls will be taking the Gibbs job. What exactly did he coach? Does anyone know if that is a done deal or is all this just rumors? If he leaves will he take others with him?

maybe they should get some of the softball players to play for them and they will improve

Congrats to an excellent year that nobody expected. What will be the outlook for next year? There are some key players that will be no longer wearing the red and white.

So it is pretty much the consensus that if Red Bank shows up to play it will be a long ride back from Chatt for the Devils.

Went to the Halls game last night and heard some rumors that there is a young coach at Halls that is interested in the Gibbs job. Someone said he had ties to the Gibbs community. Again just overheard some people talking, could be complete crap like the Coatney rumor.

Coatney leaving Fulton, where I believe he went to school, to come to Gibbs. Why in the world would he do that? That makes no sense. Is there anyone of staff at Gibbs now that could be the replacement or will they go outside and try to get someone.

Saw on Channel 10 last night Carroll is resigning at the end of their season. Seems like he has been there forever. Any ideas on who will replace him

Anybody been to practice this week? How is it going? Also, does the game start at 7 instead of 730? Hopefully it will be a packed house. Its been a long time since we have had a game at the crossroads in week 11.

I know its a long way down the road and lets take one game at a time, especially since the Devils have not one a playoff game it what seems like forever, but if they do win their first round game where would they go after that? 2 seed and home game, if they win where do they go? 3 seed and away game, if they win where do they go? Just wondering, but yes I know before someone posts "take one game at a time" that the possiblility of a second round game is a long way away.

Does Bearden play anyone else this year or are they done? Is there any rule on how many games a frosh team can play?

looked at the website again and catholic is not listed as an opponent for halls. it says they play maryville this monday and that is it. when is the catholic game? maryville one might be a good one to watch too.

i looked at the halls website and they are 7-1 going into this game with catholic who is 3-1. common opponent was Bearden which catholic beat and halls lost. maybe i make my first frosh game this coming monday, nothing else to do until MNF and a chance to see the youngsters. how is halls comparing to other programs in this area, who else is up there record wise, catholic, fulton(record?), who else

the only games i see is the varsity and i dont make most of those, most info i get is from zcar and the halls faithful on the varsity threads. any info on if they won tonight

Happyhour, it appears then fulton may be the team in the knox area this year. reason why catholic plays so few frosh games

Any final predictions on tonight game? Zcar or fairplay how did practice end up this week? Maryville is like the OJ Simpson of high school football, everyone know they are guilty just nothing is ever done about it. The glove just does not fit, could be because of all the state championship rings they are wearing.
